I Heard That Evil Comes Disguised, Like the City of Angels

Like Walking Into A Dream, So Unlike What You've Seen

"Alaina, can you go find Echo, so we can get the fuck out of here, we have to go get Short Shit, Matt, and Zacky"
"Calm down, Syn. Hit a bowl and chill the fuck out, I'll go get her"

I broke away from Jimmy. My brother, clapping his best friend on the back, then handing him a Budwiser, Jimmy grinned, swung his head back and glupped the ice cold drink.

"Hiding beer from me Syn?"
My brother laughed, "Yeah you two drink all my booze, now find your damn dog"

Silently, I left the room, leaving The Rev, who was currently putting my brother into a chokehold, Brian was trying to punch him, to let him go. Poking my head into the music room, I could see Echo sleeping in the corner, next to the drum set, I couldn't help but admire it. It's shiny, black color was slick, the deathbat was in the middle in white, and silver lined the drums. This was the most treasured item in my house, because it was Jimmy's most prized possession. Brian's guitar laid next to Zacky's, which was next to Matt's microphone. My most cherished memories where made in this room, the first time I had ever heard the band play, my brother's teaching me how to play the instruments or sing, Jimmy giving me his first pair of drum stick when I was 12 because I wanted to be a drummer, just like him, and of course this was where I could get away from my fucked up life and relax. This was my safe haven, I was able to just sit in here, forgetting about the corrupted world around me.
I ran my hand over the shiny drum set, taking in a deep breath, feeling the smooth metel over my sensitive finger tips. The room smelled a little of cleaning polish and sweat, but I didn't mind, this was home.
Echo seemed to have noticed I was standing there, because when I opened my eyes, she was panting at my feet, her big, brown, bug eyes staring at me. Smiling, I bent down and petted her head.
"It's time to go babygirl"

She let out a sneeze, straighting up, I took one last look at the room, before turning to leave, Echo followed me to the front room, her little paws making tiny pattering nosies on the wood floors.

"I can't believe she's going with us, it's been fucking forever since your sister's been with us on tour" I heard Jimmy say.
"Yeah, she's been having a tough time lately, with our father and shit, I want to keep an eye on her, leaving her here wasn't an option" Brain replied.
"You fucker's ready to go?"

They both turned to me, then Jimmy saw Echo and bolted off the stool he was sitting on.
"ECHO!" He laid on the floor, and Echo went crazy, jumping all over him, licking his face, rolling on her back so he could rub her belly. I swear the realtionship those two had was insane.
I smiled at the two of them, everyone always got along with my babygirl, she was too cute.

"Leave it too you Allie to bring a dog on tour with the most bad ass band around" Brian stated, as he went to pour the rest of his beer into the sink.
"How could I possible leave my babygirl here for 7 months? That would be hell on earth for her"

Jimmy was on his knees, barking at Echo, she cocked her head to the side, then barked back. I couldn't help but laugh, Jimmy seriously made me wonder what damn drugs he was on.
"Ready to go?" Brian drapped his arm around my shoulder, I smiled up at my brother. No matter what was happening or what I was feeling, I knew I could always count on my brother to be there for me. It was one thing I loved more about my brother then anything, at how close he was to me. Silently, I sent a prayer to the sky, asking for this tour to keep my mind off the fucked up shit that was my past life.
I felt relaxed, as I walked out the door to my home, towards the bus that would be my house for the next 7 months.
