The Real Rocknrolla

"I ain't got all day"

The brunette girl crossed one leg over the other, letting out a deep sigh. She glanced at her phone, still another ten minutes before the train arrived in London. She was beyond anxious to get home and she her old mates. And of course, her father. She had missed him most of all. It had been nearly eight years since she had seen him. She hoped she wouldn't been a disappointment.

She looked from her heels to her top, hoping that he would approve of her attire though she silently couldn't care less. She was a woman of 24 now, not the awkward 16 year old she was when she left London to attend secondary school.

Her phone buzzed and she grinned at the name on the screen. Throughout the years, she had remained in close contact with her best mate, Bob. He was the one picking her up from the train station.

From Handsome Bobby: You're train is nearly here! Can't wait to see you Odd ;)

To Handsome Bobby: Shove off dickhead ;) Can't wait either xoxo

A smile planted its way onto her face, revealing perfectly straight teeth another different thing from her last time home. The train began to crawl to a stop so she turned off her music and grabbed her purse. She rose for the first time in hours and her legs were slightly weak, from sitting so long and the built up excitement of being home.

The train stopped and she quickly made her way out of the machine. When her feet landed on the platform, her eyes began darting around looking for her oldest mate. Her teeth nibbled on her cheek and bottom lip as her eyes continued to scan the mass of people. She felt a hand on her shoulder and she turned around to be greeted by a pair of very familiar eyes.

"Bobby!" She squealed as she flung her arms around the man. He attached his arms around her waist and held her tight.

"Jesus, Odd. Never leave me like that again. I was going insane without you," He mumbled into her hair.

Apologies left the girls' mouth as she took a step back to admire him. "Holy shit. When did you get so fit? And so cute?! I mean, you've always been a looker, but damn you look fuckin' great!" She exclaimed.

"Me? Fuck, look at you! Look at these!" He said, cupping her breasts. "Where the hell did these things come from? And your teeth! Damn, you looking incredible Odessa Renee."

The two grinned widely and intertwined their fingers as they walked towards the baggage claim, Odessa's heels making a clicking sound as they went.

"Think he'll be surprised?" Odessa questioned.

Bob squeezed her hand, "He might have a goddamn heart attack Des."

They picked up her luggage, which was a large amount and walked the short distance to Bob's Range Rover. Des' luggage fit perfectly, which eased some of her worry. Eight years of her life were basically packed into these trunks.

Bob started the engine and began the drive to her father's. Odessa bit her lip nervously and reached for Bob's hand. He held her hand like he did years ago and couldn't help but smile.

His best friend was back. The person who understood and loved him most. She was a beautiful as ever, the pictures they exchanged did her no justice. He couldn't help being slightly aroused by her appearance. He knew what was beneath those short shorts and cropped top. They had once dated, he being the first man she was ever with. Shortly after they had been physically together, he began to realize that he was attracted to men. When she found out, she supported him and they grew even closer together.

"Oh, shit. We're here. I forgot how short the drive was from the train station," Odessa groaned.

Bob once again squeezed her hand reassuringly. They unbuckled and headed into the house. Odessa received many stares from the men who were 'working'. She found her way to her father's office from memory and took a deep breath before knocking.

From behind the door, the two heard an annoyed "What?"

Odessa motioned for Bob to stay put as she opened the door enough for her slim body to slide through.

Archy was sitting at his desk, typing away at his computer not noticing who had just entered the room. "What is it?" He demanded. He was greeted by silence. "Come on, out with it. I ain't got all day," He barked, now looking at the person standing in front of him.

She was wearing aqua heels with short shorts and a pearl white buster with a denim cropped jacket over it. Her brown eyes were forming tears and her lips were forming a perfect smile, a smile he paid out the arse for.

"Odessa Renee, my baby girl?" He grinned, voice cracking.

"Hi Daddy," the girl laughed as she ran over and hugged him. With the heels on, she was at his eyelevel. The two held each other, Odessa sniffling every now and then. When they parted, Arch couldn't help but stare at the young woman in front of him.

"Odessa, god, you look stunning sweetheart. Why didn't you tell me you were coming? I could've sent for someone to pick you up," Arch asked.

"Already had that taken care of. Bob came to my rescue," She laughed.

Archy nodded. Bob was a decent lad, he had always treated Odessa with the upmost respect so he held no strife with the man. "How long will you be here?" He questioned, feeling dread creep up with the question.

"Hopefully forever. I love France, I really do, but I just want to be home," The girl confessed.

Arch couldn't help but smile, "Welcome home sweetheart."
