Bread-and-Butterflies

Bread-and-butterflies, although tremendously good looking and smelling, should never be swallowed; they can leave a pervasive fluttering in one's stomach and heart if done so. Ask the Hatter; he's trying to figure out how in the world did he eat one, or, was this fluttering because of Alice?
