I didn’t hook up with Tarin again. It was okay though. I liked just talking to her. She was really cool. It was really funny that her best friend hooked up with my best friend though. I finished getting ready for practice and saw John.
“Dude, did you get laid?” I asked in a voice to mock his.
“Haha. Yes, in fact, I did and I heard you didn’t.” He replied. “ I heard the story. You don’t have to rehash it for me now.”
“Whatever.” I said as we walked out to hit the ice. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Mike and Brooks skating towards me and John.
“Heard you got laid.” said Brooks to John as they both stopped and shot a blast of snow up at him.
“Heard it was his chick’s best friend.” said MIke.
“How do you guys hear all this stuff?” asked John. Seriously though, how? “You two gossip more than two teenage girls.” Mike and Brooks just shook their heads, laughed, and skated off.
“You brought that one on yourself.” I said to John as I skated off to start running the usual drills.
