Gerard’s POV
Lindsey was really distant at the party last night, like she was totally blocking me out, it seemed that she was more interested in Jamia all night than me. I’m probably overreacting, I’m sure there is a perfectly good reason behind it. Wait, I’ve just realised, I don’t even know if Lins is completely straight. We were both sat at the kitchen table eating our breakfast, but I couldn’t find a way to ask her about it.
An hour later I was sat in my private room, where I wanted quiet, where Lindsey didn’t come, where I wrote my lyrics. I flicked open my laptop, waiting for it to load. It typed in my username, ‘Gee,’ and then my password. Once everything had loaded, I opened Google, and typed in, ‘Is Lyn-Z bisexual?’
It surprised me actually how much the search revealed about me.
‘Is Gerard Way gay?’
‘Is Gerard Way having a baby with Lyn-Z?’
‘Is Gerard way bi?’
Eventually I found a page about her, and clicked the link. I read almost every page I could find, but there was nothing against her, she seemed straight.
‘What’cha doing?’ said a female voice behind me.
I quickly closed the page and span around to see the happy, brightly lipsticked face of Lins looking back at me.
‘Nothing much, just reading a few things.’
‘Oh, I was just gonna say, Frank called, he’s coming over again, so I’m gonna go over to see Jamia.’
‘No worries,’ I said smiling to myself.
