I Can't Believe How Bad You Got Me

And I Cannot Wait

“The baby’s not going to be here,” I started with my hands on my stomach as I tried a dress on, “I feel like I shouldn’t really pick out a dress until it comes,” I pouted.

“But there is that chance you won’t have it…” Ryan teased.

“It’s like three weeks after my due date. I like to think she’ll come a little on time,” I replied.

“Jake’s never on time for anything though…” Kirstie teased.

“But Ky’s early for everything,” Ryan chuckled.

“Well… you may be surprised,” Kirstie giggle as she looked at me.

I just stuck my tongue out at the two of them and tried to imagine what I would look like at Kirstie’s wedding without the growing basketball under the fabric.

“Ky, you’ll look beautiful,” Ryan spoke up once he noticed me looking at myself from every possible angle.

“But,” I huffed, not knowing what to really bicker back with.

“You get to walk down the aisle with Jake again,” Kirstie cooed from my brother’s side where she was tightly tucked.

“I know,” I couldn’t help but smile.

“You love that boy,” Ryan smiled as well.

“I do,” I agreed and couldn’t help but look down at my stomach that was I still resting my hands on.

“Stop before you get all emotional now!” Ryan was quick to tease.

“I’m fine!” I laughed at him.

“Just another month and she’ll be here,” Kirstie piped in, realizing that I was thinking about our little girl.

“And then you guys will be married,” I turned my attention to them.

“And I cannot wait,” Ryan spoke and looked at his fiancée.

It was cute. His eyes always seemed to glow when he talked about Kirstie, but when he looks at her, you can just tell that he loves her. The look in her eyes is just as intense. I could only assume that it’s the same way Jake and I look at each other. I’m glad they found one another. I can’t wait for their big day.

Even though they got caught up in a cutesy moment, I let them go. I get it. Sometimes you look at your significant other and you’re just amazed by them. It happens to me with Jake all the time. It made me miss Jake though! Darn it, guys!

“Ok, I think I like this one,” I spoke up. They don’t need that much cutesy time!

“You sure?” Kirsite asked.

“Yeah,” I smiled.

“I think Jake will like it too…” Ryan whistled.

“Jake loves her in anything. Lets be honest…” Kirstie teased.

I just shook my head and got the lady so she could try and fit me for it… while I’m eight months pregnant. She said I could come in a week before to make sure it fit properly. That was good. I wasn’t so worried about it now. I just needed my little girl to come! That’s all I wanted now! And then I could fully enjoy the excitement of my brother’s and best friend’s wedding. Until then though, it’s just a bunch of waiting…
