I Can't Believe How Bad You Got Me

All the Dirty That She Needs

“How are you guys going to top this vacation?” I asked Jake and Ryan while we were all on the beach.

Our days here were coming to an end. I’m kind of ready to get home, but… it’s been so fun here! I never thought I would be vacationing with my brother once I was married and had a family. But… here we all were.

“Maybe we should go to like… Alaska next time,” Jake chuckled.

“You can’t just take us to a nice, warm place and then go to cold,” Kirstie bickered.

“I thought it was good idea,” Ryan muttered.

“Of course you would!” I shot at him.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” was his reply.

“You want my Jakey,” I whined.

“Whoa…” Jake spoke up.

“And you want my brother! Don’t even go there,” I pressed on, teasingly of course.

“I… Uh… I…”

“Don’t say anything, Jake! She can’t break you!” Ryan countered.

“Maybe we should give the boys some time alone…” Kirstie giggled.

“No!” Jake grumbled and tightened his arms around me since we were sitting in the same beach chair just like Kirstie and Ryan. Our babies were sitting in between us, playing in the sand.

“Jake! I thought what we had was special!” Ryan kept going.

“He’s mine. I’ve found him first!” I whined and nuzzled into his smooth, firm chest.

“NU UH! I shoved him down first!”

“HA! You admitted it!” Jake quickly caught on.

“I didn’t… I uh…”

“Aw! It was a love tap!” Kirstie couldn’t help but hold in her snicker.

“Should have known!” I got in on it.

“You knocked me down on purpose,” Jake grumbled.

“I was… it… No I didn’t!” he left Ryan speechless.

“You just said you shoved me down!”

“You don’t know what I was referring to…”

“I always knew it was Ryan’s fault…” I taunted.

“You talked crap about Jake for weeks after that little incident happened!”

“I did… not!”

“Kylee!” Jake gasped.

“I didn’t! He’s lying!

“What did you say? His face looks better covered in dirt anyway?” Ryan brought up.

“Well…” I couldn’t disagree with that.

“She’s always liked dirty boys…” Kirstie couldn’t help but giggle.

“I’m all the dirty that she needs…” Jake wiggled his eyebrows at me now.

“Oh my gosh!” I couldn’t believe what just came out of his mouth.

To try and hide the blush that was taking over my checks, I covered them with my hands and nuzzled against Jake’s chest. He chuckled and wrapped his arms around me, giving the top of my head a quick kiss.

“But I’m still a little hurt that you talked some smack on me…” was his reponse.

“He was my brother! And I didn’t know you at the time!” I huffed.

“My own wife!” he kept going.

“She was wasn’t your wife at the time,” Kirsite butted in.

“Don’t act all innocent over there! You were the one to told me to put his big butt on the ground!” Jake threw at his friend.

“So you were staring at his butt long before you knew him, huh?” I raised my eyebrow at her.

“NO!” she threw back but her face was just as red as mine was before.

I think even Ryan had the same expression on his face as Jake and I did. We knew that was a lie. I guess we all… kind of always had a thing for one another. I mean… I’ve kind of always thought Jake was cute, but of course I’d never mention that to Ryan or any of my brothers. For one, I would never hear the end of it and two, Ryan kind of hated him. But everything seemed to all work out. Everyone’s worked out their differences and seems to be getting closer and closer with each passing day.
