"I still don't understand how you find Jake attractive," I snickered as we ate lunch.
"I still don't understand how you are blind to my beauty!" Jake teased.
"He is gorgeous though, look at him!" Kylee dreamily sighed.
"Ryan?" I asked.
His steel blue eyes grew wide as he said, "Don't look at me!"
"If you were a girl would you find Jake attractive?" Kylee questioned.
"I'm so not answering that," He chuckled so cutely.
Jake patted Ryan's shoulder as he said, "It's okay Ryan, you can tell them you secretly find me attractive."
"Jake would be the girlfriend in that relationship," I spoke up with an amused smile on my lips.
"Would not!" He shot back.
"Would too! You look like a girl," I teased.
"No he doesn't, he's a gorgeous man," Kylee cooed, leaning across the table to kiss him.
"We need a bigger table," Ryan snickered.
I let out a giggle as Kylee and Jake sent us playful glares. Ryan just flicked a french fry at his sister, earning another glare.
"I feel like we're not wanted," I said to Ryan.
"I was wondering when you'd pick up on that," Jake snickered.
I just stuck my tongue out at him before Ky said, "You guys could pass as brother and sister."
"Yeah, Kirstie is the annoying little sister that our family never wanted," Jake teased.
"Oh you're just so funny," I sarcastically said.
"Jake is obviously teasing," Ryan started as he put a hand over mine. "Because obviously no one would ever not want you."
I couldn't fight the smile that danced across my lips as my eyes met his. I didn't want to like him for so many reasons but...he's making it really hard!
