Chapter 2
My shoulder was softly shaken. I groaned and kept my eyes closed. "Amberli, were here." Danny whispered in my ear. I yawned and sat up, stretching. I stood up from my seat, grabbed my bags, and followed behind Danny off the plane. Wow, LA was beautiful. It was night here but it was still really pretty. I followed into LA's airport, where it wasn't so cold. I mean for LA it was pretty cold.
We sat down until we seen a sign that read the guys names. The people that were holding the sign ended up being our drivers. I sat in the back of the limo with the guys, my headphones in. I went through my songs not sure which one to put on. I finally decided to put on My Understandings.
It took us about a half hour to drive to our hotel. Man, traffic here was bad. I got out with my bags in hand, walking toward the hotel. Getting to the door was hell. I could barely see anything because of all the flashing lights from the Paps cameras. I heard shouts from them, asking the guys if I was dating one of them. Wow, people need a proper job. Paparazzi existing is just an invade of Celebrity's privacy. I mean they could be getting dressed and Paps would look through windows and post the pictures online like the little pervs most of them were.
t took us about a half hour to drive to our hotel. Man, traffic here was bad. I got out with my bags in hand, walking toward the hotel. Getting to the door was hell. I could barely see anything because of all the flashing lights from the Paps cameras. I heard shouts from them, asking the guys if I was dating one of them. Wow, people need a proper job. Paparazzi existing is just an invade of Celebrity's privacy. I mean they could be getting dressed and Paps would look through windows and post the pictures online like the little pervs most of them were.
Soon we got into the lobby and checked into our hotel room. Everytime I blinked I seen purple splotches of light from the camera flashes. It was really annoying. I filled into the Elevator with the guys and one of them pressed floor number 6's button. I felt the elevator car start moving up and I just looked off into space waiting for it to finally stop at our floor. Once the car stopped and the doors slid open slowly I pushed out of the elevator as it had gotten extremely hot during the ride up. "Danny, what's the room number?" I asked, holding my hand out for the room key.
"246." He answered, handing over the key. I walked off down the hallway, finding the room pretty quickly. I unlocked the door, happy that I got first dibs on which room I wanted. I chose the biggest one and set my suitcases down. I took off my shoes and jumped on my bed as Danny walked through the doorway of the room I had chosen. He laughed, "What are you doing, Amberli?"
"Breaking the bed in." I answered like he was supposed to know that.
"Oh okay. You have fun. But you should probably start unpacking your stuff. Were all going for a night on the town, so we can get to know the city."
I stopped jumping and fell onto my butt, "Okay." I brought my big suitcase onto the bed and started putting my clothes in piles and then into the big drawers of the bedside table. I finished in about four minutes and then walked out by the rest of them. "Ready Amberli?"
"As I ready as I can ever be." I smile.
