Radio Connection

Hey” I heard him whisper. I glanced up and saw his blue gray eyes staring at me. He had a smile on his face, but I could tell he felt as awkward as I did. He racked his hands through his hair and looked down at his black converse shoes.
“I like your shoes.” I whispered back as I sat down on one of the swivel chairs. I spun around a few times and I heard him come and sit next to me.
“Thanks. So this is weird right?” He asked suddenly, leaning in towards me.
I tried to smile at him and I nodded, not really knowing what to say. It was weird that he would end up being my co-host here. How was I going to be able to spend my entire summer with this guy after what happened last night, I will never be able to forget that.
One night stands are supposed to be called that for a reason...they are only supposed to last one night.
