When 15 year old Noah's mom dies from a heart attack, he doesn't care. She took money from the forty year old neighbor next door so he could use Noah for sex.
Noah's dad never knew. So Noah's dad commits suicide, not being able to stay on Earth while his "perfect" wife sits in her grave.
Noah can't go outside. He can't call the cops. He can't do anything but stay in the house.
They'll think he did it.
They'll think he's crazy.
But when the neighbor moves away, seeing that the watering hole's dried up, new neighbors come. And in this small town, it's impolite to not visit your new neighbors. But Noah can't. He can't leave the house with a rotting body in the house.
So the neighbors come to him.
