The first full moon

I woke up to the feeling of Isaac picking me up. I assumed I had fallen asleep on the couch and he was taking me to his room. I thought for a quick second about letting him know I was awake so he could put me down, and I could walk upstairs by myself. I decided to just fake sleep and enjoy him carrying me upstairs.

I nested my head into his grey v-neck covered chest, I was the sensation of him holding me as he carried me upstairs. As Isaac laid me on the soft bed I couldn't help but open my green eyes and look at him. I stared into his blue eyes and he stared straight back at me like he was staring into my soul. I watched him as he stretched his neck awkwardly.

“Are you going to be okay?” he asked before taking a breath.

“I really don't know.” I sat up with the back against the headboard. “I mean I'm glad to be back in Beacon Hills but I'm honestly terrified,” I said with my green eyes locked on his icy blue ones.

“Do you want me to sleep in here with you?” he asked hesitantly almost as if he was scared I would say no to him.

I stared him at him wishing he could read my mind, because for some reason I was having a hard time telling him I needed him. “Yes,” I whispered.

He didn't say anything he just pulled his shirt off and crawled into bed next to me. I got off the bed and crawled under the covers. There was a part of me that wanted to keep my distance from Isaac because he would reject me again, and then there was the part of me that didn't care and just wanted cuddle up next to him. Being around Isaac just made me feel safe. I laid on my side and side facing Isaac and couldn't help but stare at him.

“Thank you,” I whispered.

“No problem,” he said staring into my eyes. “Scott's mom will probably kill me for sharing a bed with you,” he said with a little laugh.

“I hope she doesn't hate me for this.”

“I'll let her know about your nightmares if she get mad, and I'm pretty sure she'll understand,” he said still staring at me. “You should probably try to get some sleep.”

“Okay,” I yawned before turning over so my back was to him.

If I was thinking straight I probably wouldn't of moved back until my back was pressed up against his he bare chest, but I couldn't help I did it without thinking. I couldn't help but smile as he draped his arm over my torso and pulled me even closer to him.

I closed my eyes and just smiled.

I woke up in the morning to Isaac crawling out of the bed. I sat up and looked at him with a look of rejection in my eyes. I couldn't understand why he was sneaking out of bed, he looked over at me with a confused look in his eyes.

“You don't have to sneak out,” I said breaking the silence that had grown in a matter of seconds.

“I wasn't sneaking out,” he said sitting down on the edge of the bed next to me.

“It sure seemed like you were,” I said running my fingers through my hair attempting to make it not look like a total mess.

“I don't know why I was leaving,” he said staring into my eyes.

“Do you want to get up and get some cereal?” he asked standing up.

“Sure,” I said crawling out of bed.

I followed Isaac as he led me downstairs towards the kitchen. When we got into the kitchen we found Scott and his mom sitting at the kitchen table with bowls of cereal in front of them. “Ms. McCall I would like for you to meet Lennon Callin,” he introduced me sounding like he was a teenage boy who had just got kissing a girl in front of his mom.

“Nice to meet you Lennon,” she said giving me a smile.

“Nice to meet you too Ms. McCall.” I said giving her a smile.

I followed Isaac over to cupboard as he pulled cereal out and sat it on the counter. I wasn't exactly sure if I should help him or if I should sit down at the table. “Lennon why don't you sit down next to Scott at the table,” Isaac said as he opened the fridge and pulled out the milk.

“Alright,” I said softly.

Isaac

I watched Lennon walk over to the kitchen and then continued to make us each a bowl a cereal. I walked over to the table and sat Lennon's bowl in front of her, and sat my bowl next to her. I took a bite of my cereal, as Ms. McCall stood up and took her bowl over to the sink.

“Isaac can I speak to you in the living room?” her tone was kind but it also let me know it was a rhetorical question, that I didn't have an option.

“Yeah sure,” I said standing up and following her into the living room.

She didn't say anything she just kinda stared at me like she was trying to figure out what she wanted to say to me. “Isaac,” she said before pausing. “Isaac are you and Lennon having sex?” she asked running her fingers through her hair, as I felt my heart kinda stop at the question.

“What?” I wasn't sure what to say to her.

“Are you and Lennon having sex?” she asked me again.

“No,” I said starting to stuttering “I mean if you ask because I shared a bed with her, I think you should know that's because since she's been kidnapped she's been suffering from nightmares and she was scared to sleep alone,” I said really fast and stuttering over my words. “Also we've never done anything, we literally never kissed.”

“Thank god,” she said with a sigh of relief.

“If you want me to I won't share a bed with her tonight?” I said trying to make sure she still.

“No you can sleep in the same room as her just know that you will not have sex under my roof,” she said. “Also if you do have sex with her or any other girl please be safe,” she said before pulling me into a hug.

“Alright I will.” I said giving her an awkward smile.

I walked back into the kitchen to find Lennon and Scott talking about something random. I sat down next to her and started eating my cereal again.

Lennon

I sat on the couch in between Isaac and Scott. Scott's eyes were locked on the TV and Isaac's were locked on me. I wasn't looking at him but I could feel his eyes burning a hole into me. I heard a knock on the door and I looked over at Isaac as Scott got up to get the door.

“Are you scared because it's the full moon?” I asked.

“No I'm not, I'm just worried about leaving you alone,” he said looking at Stiles as he walked over towards us.

“Are you guys ready to head over to Lydia's?” Stiles asked putting his hands into his pockets of his grey skinny jeans.

“Yeah,” Isaac said standing up.

I stood up and follow the three boys as they walked outside. We walked straight to the same jeep that Stiles drove the night everyone saved me from Deucalion. I felt chills go down my spine as I crawled into the backseat of the jeep. I buckled up quickly as Isaac crawled into the back seat next to me.

“Are you going to be alright tonight?” I asked him looking at him as he buckled up. He took a deep breath before looking over at me. “Yeah,” he said hesitantly.

“You don't sound so sure of yourself,” I said looking out the window to find Stiles and Scott talking about something.

He bit he lip before saying, “I'll be fine, but I'm just worried that we might have a run in with the alphas.”

“If you do run into them will you be okay?” I asked quietly as Scott and Stiles got in the car.

“I hope so,” he said as we started moving.

“Are you excited for your super fun night with me and Lydia?” Stiles asked, I could tell he was smiling by his tone.

“Yeah,” I said looking over at Isaac.

When we arrived at Lydia's I looked off into the west to see that sun was starting to go down. I looked over at Isaac to see him walking towards the front door with Stiles. I looked back in the east and just kind of stared at the sky until I heard a Scott say, “you don't have to worry.” I turned around to see him looking at the sky.

“I'm not worried about myself,” I said looking into his eyes. “I'm worried about you guys.”

“We are the last people you need to worry about,” he said with a smirk like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

“I know but I can't help but worry,” I said turning around and looking back at Lydia's front door where Isaac and Stiles had just gone inside.

“He'll be fine,” he said putting his hands on both my shoulders and looking me straight in my eyes.

“He's more worried about you then anything.” he said taking his hands off me. “He would stay with you if he was one-hundred percent sure he could control himself.”

“Come inside you two,” Stiles shouted stepping outside.

“Alright,” Scott shouting and nodding his head.

I followed Scott and we walked into Lydia's house. We walked straight to Lydia's dark purple room where she was sitting on her bed and Isaac was leaning against the wall by her window, and Stile's was sitting on the foot of the middle of the room next to Lydia.

“So are you guys just going to Derek's tonight?” Stiles asked.

“Yeah that's the plan. We're hoping not to run into the alphas at all,” Scott said.

“We don't if we can actually avoid them?” Isaac said speaking up.

“Well lets hope you don't,” Lydia said standing up and adjusting the bottom of her dress. “Shouldn't you boys be heading out to wolf out?” she said raising her eyebrows.

“Do you no longer like our company?” Isaac cocking his eyebrow.

“At this moment I would like to be spending some girl time with Lennon,” she said walking behind Isaac and Scott as they walked out of her room.

“What about me?” Stiles asked sounded completely insulted standing next me.

“Oh don't worry Stiles you're wanted,” she shouted from down the hall.

“Unbelievable I'm still pretty much invisible to her,” he said flopping down on the bed again. “I swear one day she'll fall in love with me. I might take forever, but on flippin day it will happen again,” he said running his fingers through his hair.

“I don't think you're invisible to her,” I said sitting down on the bed next to him trying to make him feel better.

“My five year plan to make her fall in love with me might become a ten year,” he said still sounding annoyed.

I didn't exactly know what to say to him because I didn't really know him or Lydia, so I just looked down at the ground quietly. “So what's going on between you and Isaac?” he asked speaking up again.

“Nothing,” I said looking over at him. I wonder if everybody saw something that I didn't see between me and Isaac.

“Oh he looks at you differently then I've ever seen him look at anyone,” he said looking at me.

“There isn't anything going on,” I said looking at the door as Lydia walked back into her room.

“What are you two talking about?” she asked giving me a smile.

“Nothing about what she's missing at school” Stiles said giving me a smile as he lied to Lydia.

“Alright why don't we go to the living room and watch a movie until Allison gets here?” she asked.

We walked into the living and sat down on the couch. I made sure I sat on the far side of the couch so Stiles could sit next to Lydia. I watched as Lydia walked over to the TV and turned it and on and I looked over at Stiles to find him staring at her. I couldn't help but feel bad for Stiles, he was completely in love with Lydia and she didn't even realize it.

We watched TV for about an hour before Allison showed up. When she came by her and Stiles went to talk about something in Lydia's room. I followed Lydia as she led me into the kitchen. “You don't have to worry their not talking about you,” she said reaching into the fridge and grabbing a bottle of water. I must have had a confused look on my face because she then said, “they're probably just talking about something to do with werewolf stuff,” she said holding a water bottle out for me to grab.

“Oh,” I said taking the water out of her hand.

I stood in Lydia's backyard with her, Stiles, and Allison just sitting by the pool. I wasn't sure why they decided we needed to sit outside to watch the stars, but I didn't question it I just sat outside in a lounge chair that was by the pool. Stiles was laying in the chair next to me looking exhausted, and Lydia and Allison both sat we sitting on the edge of the pool with their feet in the water.

“What time is it?” Stiles whined lifting his head off the lounge chair and looking at me.

“It's like two in the morning,” I said looking over at the clock that was hanging by the back door.

“I'm so tired and I have school tomorrow,” he continued to whine.

“We all have school tomorrow,” Lydia said looking over at him and raising her eyebrow. “I mean all of us but Lennon,” she said looking back over at the pool.

“I can't lie I kind of miss school,” I said sitting up in the chair and crossing my legs.

“How do you miss school?” Stiles said still lying down on the chair.

“I don't know I just do, I mean the only person I really ever see right now is Isaac.”

“Is it really a problem seeing only Isaac?” Lydia said taking her feet out of the pool and walking back towards Stiles and I.

“I guess not I mean he's nice to me,” I said two seconds before all our eyes went wide as we heard the front door open. I don't think I've ever seen anyone faster then I've seen Stiles fly out of the chair and stand next me.

I held my breath waiting almost to die, but was soon relieved when Isaac came running outside and Scott was right behind him. He had a panicked look on his face as his eyes searched around the backyard before his icy blue eyes locked onto mine. He stared at me for a max of ten seconds before he rushed to me. He stopped about five inches from me before taking a deep breath. I was completely confused on why he looked so panicked and why he was looking at me like he had just seen a ghost. My thoughts were cut off by Isaac crashing his lips into mine. I didn't know what to do as Isaac placed his hands on the side of my face and moved his lips against mine. I decided to stop thinking and I just started moving my lips in sync with his.

Isaac only pulled away from me when the sound of clearing there voice pulled us away from the moment. “I thought you were dead,” he said staring into my eyes.

“Why did you think she was dead?” Stile asked from behind Isaac.

“Because we ran into the alpha pack and Deucalion wasn't with them,” he was stumbling over his words and sounded like he still wasn't sure if I was alive. “And I just got scared that the reason he wasn't there was because he had gotten Lennon,” he said looking back over at me.

“Well I think your lips let you know that Lennon's obviously alive and well,” Lydia said nodding her head.

I wasn't exactly sure what to think about everything that had just happened. I placed my left hand on my lips remembering the feeling of Isaac's lips against mind, and I really couldn't believe that we had kissed. Like I knew I felt something for Isaac that I've never felt for anyone, but I still thought the reason behind that was because he was my protector. Thinking about the kiss made me wonder what was going to happen next between us. I mean I didn't expect us to start dating, but I really hoped something would happen.
