Extraordinary Girl - Lily
Letters
Lily wasn't your average teenage girl. She'd seen and had things done to her that should never be done to a child, or any human for that matter. She's out of that horrible place now but she's mentally scarred.
When she was 11 she was kidnapped and a year later had a little boy, she called him Sam. It turned out that the father of the child was not actually the man who raped her, but his son's, he'd used a needle to inject her and get her pregnant.
2 years later, Lily gets a letter. She was quite surprised to see the contents of it were from her real father...Lily had grew up in an awful place, with her abusive adoptive father, that had led her to self harming and lots of suicide attempts. She used to love the feeling of the blade, sinking ever so slightly into her skin, and then moving it back and forth to make a bigger, deeper cut, which would leave an even bigger and whiter scar. Sometimes she'd even cut right down to the vein, watching the sickly red liquid flow from her arm...she'd do this until she passed out from exhaustion. Now here was this letter, from the very man who had abandoned her as a child and left her in that horrible place. The letter read:
Dear Lily,
I hope this reaches you as I've been trying to do so for the past 2 years; maybe your adoptive parents stopped the letters from being seen...I don't know. What I do know is that you're my daughter and I want to contact you, please don't be angry with me about leaving you...I had to, I loved your mother dearly and didn't want to leave, but my second child to my wife was being born...I had to go.
