The End.
prologue
It was almost a tradition, the world ending. In recent years there had been so many threats of the end of the world, people laughed it off and spent their so called last moments watching Harry Potter reruns and working in their gardens. One could say the world had cheated death numerous times, but not this time.
It was an asteroid, astronomers had named it Daphne and predicted its size to be 80 miles wide. It was hurdling towards Earth at an alarming rate, all over the globe there had been attempts to stop impact and they had all somehow failed. It seemed the impossible was here. The problem we had been saving ‘for later generations’ was now our problem.
In three weeks, all of humanity would be obliterated. Three weeks, and it would all be over.
This was it. The end of all we know.

Just something I'm cooking up, we'll see where this goes. It's inspired by Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, and it's only going to be about 10 or 11 chapters, so not too long.Let's figure this out.
