The Life and Times of Roman Maslov

HE was born with a disorder that changed his life forever,
and SHE was just a girl with no direction.

"Do you like me?" she asked, tracing her fingers along the contours his skin. He felt his nerves dance along with her touch and he sighed, closing his eyes. She laughed and went, "What? Am I really that bad?"

He shook his head.

"Not in the least, princess," he breathed.

"Then what is it?"

"I can kill you," he murmured.

She rolled her eyes and shrugged her shoulders.

"If this trailer collapses, it'll kill me. If a bear or something attacks me, it'll kill me. If I hold a freaking knife, it'll probably kill me. I think I can handle you, Superman," she said, poking him in the chest.

He chuckled and said, sadly, "It's not that simple."

She shrugged her shoulders again and pressed her lips to his cheek.

"Sure it is."
