Status: Finished finally, but I tried doing a sequal and it just didn't come out so there is no sequal.

Like Lightening, I Strike Twice

Chapter 23

- - Kristina's prov - -

I pulled down my skirt and walked into the room, when I heard my name was called.

"Miss. Kristina Lange?" The man asked once I had sat down.

I nodded, "I am.'

I looked around, "aren't there supposed to be other people here?"

"Normally, yes but your parents left you everything."

"Everything?"

The guy nodded, "sign right here, and everything will be yours."

I signed, thanked him, and walked out to my car. Once there I drove to my parents' house.

I must have sat in the car, staring at the house for a good 10 or so minutes. But I couldn't bring myself to move.

I was staring at the house I grew up in. I lived in that house for all of my childhood. My parents lived there.

But now they didn't

I couldn't help but think about all the good and bad memories the house held for me. but I couldn't help but question myself.

Would I sell the house?

I had to

Why?

Hurt too much not too

Did I want to?

No

I got out of the car and walked to the front door, as I got closer I noticed something sitting on the doorstep.

"Brian?" I asked.

He looked up before engulfing me into a huge hug. "You okay?" He asked.

I nodded into his shoulder, "I'm fine."

He pulled away before he kissed me on the forehead, and opened the door.

I looked around, seeing all the pictures brought back all the memories. It was just too much for me, I felt the tears threatening to come out.

I turned around and buried my head into Brains' chest.

"I can't do this." I said slowly trying to shoo the tears away.

Brian kissed the top of my head, "you sure?"

"I want to sell it, but I can't deal with it today. There's just way too many memories."

Brian hugged me tighter and whispered in my ear, that everything would be all right. Once I had calmed down I walked back out to the car with him following. He held my hand as we drove back to his place.

My parents lived in Huntington, so Amber and I were staying with the guys. Chloe went home.

"Why were you there?" I asked.

- - Brian's prov - -

I shrugged, "I knew you would there."

"How did you get there?"

"I took a cab, I figured you would need someone there."

Kristina squeezed my hand, "thanks."

I squeezed back, "you would have done the same."

Kristina and I walked to my house, holding hands, but silent. I just didn't know what to say

She suddenly pulled me into a hug, and kissed me lightly on the lips. "Thanks," she murmured before pulling me into the house.

Once in there Amber pulled her into another big hug. Kristina hugged Amber back, "is she okay?" Amber mouthed to me.

I nodded while Kristina pulled away. I figured she would run up stairs to an empty, so she could cry alone. She was walking to the stairs when Zack called to her.

"Kristina, want to play with us?"

"Zack I don't think th-" I started but Kristina cut me off.

"Sure, I would love to play video games with you guys."

She noticed all of our raise eyebrows before clarifying. "Kicking Baker's ass in racing will help me get my mind off of this, crying does no one any good."

"Hey! What makes you think you're going to win?" Zack whined.

She shrugged and set up to the game.

4 hours later, Kristina had beat everyone in the house.

"That was fun guys, but I'm tired." She said yawning, she then walked upstairs.

- - 3 days later, still Brains' prov - -

The funeral had ended about a hour ago. Kristina hadn't shred one tear. I thought she she would shed a few when the caskets were lowered, but no she just squeezed my hand tighter.

The minute it was over she buried her head into my chest, I hugged her tight and awkwardly walked to the car. Once there she looked at the graves once more before getting the car.

Once we got back to the house she ran up to my room. We expect to hear something but instead heard nothing.

The guys and I sat around the table, we had grown up with Kristina's parents like we had grown up with everyone else's parents. The guys and I sat there in our own thoughts when we heard Amber come in and grab a water.

Amber was dressed in all black, but had changed from her outfit she had worn to the funeral. We were about to ask her about it when she heard a gun click.

We turned and saw Kristina hold about four guns, and had two switch blades in each shoe.

She looked straight at Amber and spoke her first words of the days.

"Are you ready?"
