The Broken Rhythm

Chapter Two

Rhythm's POV

Its a few days later and once again nothing has gone right. Nothing feels right and he came in again.

The pain is surging through my body with every hit, blood is splashing everywhere. The carpet blood red, and then there's me. Broken.

My screams fill the room, sounding like a mystery murder scene. His fatal words yelling at me to stop screaming.

"Quiet!" My father yells with fury, anger and annoyance.

But then in the far distance I hear sirens. Sirens of possible help, save me sirens, please be for me.

The fury of words and harsh hands still scratching, yanking and shoving kills but my body still goes on.

But then everything goes almost dead silent except for the sirens I hear outside. The window going multicolored and now the sound of the front door being broken down.

"Make a sound and your dead." My father says quietly, barely enough for me to hear.

Big boots run up the stairs with much noise, the sound of handcuffs clanging against each other and every man running and opening every door until they find us.

"Mr. Raves, you are under arrest for child abuse," The red headed cop says to my brunette father. "What ever you say will be held against you under court of law." She says while putting pewter grey handcuffs on him while leading him down and into the police car.

The other police man goes down the stairs and I hear him say before he goes "Paramedics will be here shortly, don't move."

I end up passing out right before the paramedics reach my blood covered body, the last thing I heard was "Put her on the gurney, shes loosing life!" And that's when I fade to the darkness.
