Insanity

"Music is my life."

Those words are heard so many times from so many people. Whether as an exaggeration or not, you don't know if they really mean what they say when it comes to that phrase.
But for me, that statement could never be more true. I have literally devoted every ounce of free time I have to music- especially singing. I want nothing more out of life than to become a famous singer, known and loved all over the world. It's literally my dream.
However, so far that dream's been out of reach for as long as I can remember. Of course it isn't easy, but when you live where I live, you'd think something would have happened by now... unfortunately, it's the complete opposite.

So this time, I'm taking matters into my own hands.

The year is 2009. I have just turned twenty-four years old. And I am now going to audition for the biggest singing competition known to all of England- The X Factor.

Failure is no longer an option for me.
And whether for the better or for the worse....
...this will change my life forever.
