For The First Time
I couldn't believe it here I was standing in one of the most beautiful hotels and most expensive hotel I'd ever been to and nothing was going to ruin my relaxing holiday, except maybe one thing all the young happy couples down here in the lobby.
"Hi I'd like to check in now thanks." I smiled approaching the counter "Sure thing. Name?" the guy asked with a vacant expression like he couldn't wait to get out of there "uh Zoe Armstrong.." I replied searching my bag for ID and credit card "Alright you're staying in room 416. Have a lovely stay."
I grabbed my room key and headed up to my room, I just wanted to sleep or something.
It wasn't even 9 am and I was woken up to the sound of teenage girls screaming and chanting outside the hotel, opening the balcony doors I popped my head out to see what was going on and saw nothing. I thought of all the possible things I could do to shut them up but I wasn't willing to go to jail and being only 9 in the morning it's not like I could go to the bars or anything.
I don't know why I still had his number in here we weren't even together anymore, we broke up ages ago, better question why was he texting me? I can't deal with him anymore I just have to clear my head.
Throwing my swimsuit on I headed down to the Hotels pool for a quick morning swim to clear my head and to try get away from the constant screaming.
"It's mental out there, Shit I feel sorry for everyone else staying here." I heard a voice at the other end of the pool "That just goes to show the love and dedication though." another replied from the chair as he tanned his rather pale skin, they clearly weren't from here it was hard to tell from the distance but they were British
I didn't take much more notice of the boys and I continued doing a few more laps of the pool "Am I in your way?" The curly haired boy asked "No, it's fine I was just about to get out." I replied flashing a smile his way "Well don't leave on my account, I can move over for you if you like." He insisted "No really it's fine I just came down to clear my head." I laughed picking up my towel to dry my hair "Jaysus Harry you scared the poor girl!" the guy tanning shouted "you guys enjoy the pool while you can, it might get busy." I grinned walking back to the doors "I'm sorry about him pretty girls like yourself make him a little nervous." the statement made me burst into laughter but also made my heart flutter a little, I think it was the accent which was either Scottish or Irish
"Hold the lift!" A voice shouted running towards the closing doors "Thanks." he puffed "No problem which floor?" I asked "uh 5 thanks." we both stood awkwardly in the elevator waiting for it to get to my floor.
