Corson Speech.

Speech.

I've known Cordy for quite a while now, and over that time we've become friends, best friends. [smiles] So, as Cordy's best man, I'm required to write a speech... I hope this suffices. [nervous laugh]

I think I just about remember first meeting both Cordy and Mason, separately, but it's actually all a bit of a blur. That might just be me, with the time loss and everything... [another nervous laugh] but it has gone fast, hasn't it?

It seems like just last week that it seemed so simple, where we were all simply friends, and now there's major feelings involved, and many of us here have now established a serious relationship with somebody else. [soft smile]

But I do remember seeing them interact with each other and at that time I wasn't actually sure whether there was something more going on, and looking back on it now it becomes more obvious that they had feelings for each other.

Maybe it's just me, all Mr Empathy, so I don't know if anyone else realized it too. But yes, looking back on it now, I see my first assumption was right. [grins]

This speech won't be too long as it is their big day, and I wouldn't want to take any time away from that. I just wanted to say that I'm so happy for them. They've been through, well, a Hell of a lot, actually, to get where they are now, and I really admire them for it. [nods, smiling again]

I hope this new chapter in their lives treats them both as well as they deserve to be treated. It's obvious to anyone else that they're in love with each other, and I say that's all that matters, as long as they have each other, they'll be okay. [raises wine glass]

To Mason and Cordy. [takes a sip of his wine before sitting down, smiling]
