Baby Bird.

Two.

She lay on her bed staring upwards at the ceiling tiles, 137, there where 137 ceiling tiles, she knew, she had counted them, she could hear vague raised voices, she recognised each of them individually but couldn't make out the words, in a way she was thankful for that small fact she didn't want to hear anything Dean Winchester had to say for himself.

She stood up and paced the room tear still spilling down her cheeks contemplating her next move.

Dean was still fiercely defending his actions making Bobby angrier amidst the shouting between the men an engine was heard Sam walked to the window allowing the two to continue arguing, he watched in shock as he saw the impala speed off away from the ageing building, Robyn behind the wheel, he turned slowly worry slowly creeping in,

"She's taken the car"

his words came out quieter than intended, Dean turned and looked at him,

"What?"

"She's taken the car!"

He shouted this time, the two older men pushed past him, making their way out on to the front porch, Bobby stared in disbelief, Dean mumbled under his breath about scratches and potential damage, Bobby remained silent.

She drove down endless roads all of them beginning to look identical to the one before, the night drew in around her quicker than expected, she pulled in to the dusty car lot of a bar she had never seen before, cutting the engine and tucking her keys in to her pocket she walked in.

The bar was cleaner than expected most of the patrons tired truckers or business men who hated their wives, she chose a stool at the end of the bar and sat down, her phone vibrating angrily in her pocket, she pulled it out with a sigh and glanced at the display "Dean", she groaned and slammed it down on to the bar signalling for the young bar maid to bring her over a beer. She sat sipping from the amber bottle quietly planning out her future carefully she didn't want them to find her she didn't need a pity family, she just became more determined to find her own, but with out any information she had a gnawing feeling she would have to ask Bobby.

They drove down the dark roads in Bobby's beaten up pick up all of them looking desperately for any clues, sam didn't recognise the feeling eating at his insides, regret? fear? sadness?, he remained silent as the other two argued amongst them selves passing the blame between them. Sam's eyes began to burn and feel heavy as tears threatened to fall, he wiped them away furiously with the sleeve of his jacket the rough material causing angry red marks to appear under his eyes. They pulled in to a cheap motel for the night giving up their search, hours dragged past, Dean sat browsing the internet, Bobby phoned around to see if his friends had seen her. Sam remained silent staring out of the dirty window. It wasn't long before the other two men where soundly asleep, he pulled on his shoes and jacket and headed out in to the night

The room began to sway around her ash she drank her eighth? or was it ninth? She lost count many bottles ago, a man in suit she couldn't remember his name but he had been buying them for her and had been probing her private life, but she was smart she knew how to answer these things, that was one of the things she was thankful Dean had taught her how to do, lie, after a few shots of whiskey she began to get giggly her head felt airy and her vision was starting to blur, she stood and stumbled a little the man sitting with her laughing a little, she smiled at him,

"Excusssse me, I nnn..need to use the little girlsh room"

She walked towards the toilets managing to find enough balance to walk down the hall to get to them she checked her phone again unable to make out the display but she could make out Dean and Bobby's names and a mystery number of missed calls, she rolled her eyes and slipped her phone back in her pocket, she finished up in the bathroom by washing her hands and neatening her hair, she stepped back out in to the hall and began to walk back out to the bar, she noticed the man who had been buying her drinks walking towards her,

"Hey you!"

She called out cheerfully her heart sinking when he walked aggressively towards her, his face contorted in to a rage, he boxed her in against the wall she stepped back sobering up enough to smell the rancid alcohol on his breath, she glanced over her shoulder desperately hoping there was someone else there, they where alone, he continued to push her back in to the panelled wall,

"Look I really dont need this at the moment why don't you back the fuck off"

"Such a pretty girl, such a dirty mouth" the man drawled taking another step towards her "I bet you make some really nice noises in bed"

With that she took a sloppy swing at him, but even intoxicated he was able to grab the hunters skinny wrist, slamming it against the wall over her head, causing her to cry out, he pressed his body in to hers she leered at him,

"Just a little kiss sweetheart, it won't hurt no one and you never know you might like it then we can disappear to some place a little more private"

She squirmed trying to get away from him, turning her face away from his sticky breath, she couldn't get loose and feeling the man's hard member press against her leg caused her to pale, the man's mouth was at her neck causing a wave of nausea to crash through her body, she swallowed tightly, she squeezed her eyes closed

"HEY! Get away from her!"

The drunk turned away, she opened her eyes at the sudden release of pressure, her heart burst out of her chest when she saw Sam, the man was a few inches taller than Sam and about a foot wider than him and his drunken ego bigger than that all adding up to a bloated ego, but he didn't know what Sam was capable of,

"And what if I don't want to"

"Robyn go and wait for me in outside"

He said through gritted teeth a muscle in his jaw ticking, she nodded, the look on Sam's face highlighting the raw danger that she had been in she went to take a step away a thick arm cutting her of from safety

"I'm not done with her yet"

The drunk spat lumbering towards Sam, she closed her eyes not wanting to see what was about to happen, the unmistakable sound of bone against bone rang out and the sound of a body hitting the floor followed soon after, she didn't want to think too much about it she opened her eyes as Sam grabbed her arm and pulled her out of the establishment.
