One day I was walking along a sidewalk....It was crowded with people. The sun shining overhead. I was just minding my own business. All of these people looked the same to me. No one had ever looked as special as Alex had been. I had never forgotten him. Or the way he looked. His little grin...

Not paying attention, I bumped into someone. Our shoulders touched and we turned to say sorry at the same time. Our eyes locked. Perfect sandy hair, same beautiful lips...It was him. The man I had never forgotten. The man I never truly got over.

"Jack..."

"Alex....How are you?"

"I'm okay. You?"

"The same..."

"I havent seen you in so long..."

"I know...After that night..." I trailed off.

"Yeah. I know...Hey, maybe we can...Get together sometime?"

"Yeah, sure. That would be good..."

"Okay. Well I'll go now..Just call me sometime? I'm in the phonebook so..."

"Alright, yeah. See ya around."

He waved a little and walked away. I stared at him and just watched...I was glad I saw him. Maybe I would call him up sometime...

He was perfect.
