Junior Year

So I'm writing this at 12 in the morning, just for reference. I recently found out that my summer love had acquired a boyfriend. Apparently on March 24. I don't know how many times this has happened to me, where some girl I like ends up with some other guy. This one might be a little bit understandable, as we haven't communicated for 3 months, and it's easier to date a guy you see more often. But I've done something about it before, where I pursue them, and it just doesn't work out. I guess, it's time for me to finally draw the line, and realize what really matters at the moment. I wasn't always a fan of "If it's meant to be, then it will be." I always believed that you had to work to earn the right, to deserve it. But now...I'm just totally out of it. An opportunity, once passed, can never be seized again. I'm sure you've heard that in some form or another, but take advantage of the opportunities that are given to you and the ones that you create. If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door. Never take what you have for granted. Appreciate what you have, before it becomes what you had.
