My Brother, His Best Friend and I

Finally the weekend, I tossed all my books in my locker and headed to my car and saw a figure standing there. I jumped on his back and I heard him laugh, after Monday night at my house Colin had been describing this guy he wanted me to meet at the game tonight.

"Are you ready?" He asked climbing in my car, I just looked at him "I rode with Jason this morning and he left me, Jackass" I started my car "So, are you?"

"A little nervous, but if he's as nice as you say he is, then I will give him a shot" He smiled leaning his back and closing his eyes "Does he have any idea that he is meeting me tonight?" he only nodded and I started to hum along to the radio

Jason, Colin and I had the house to our self till Sunday when my parents get back, they went off and tried to make up for forgetting poor Sam's birthday. Jason was being Lacey back to the house and Colin was bringing Jamie, I sighed. If things went good with whoever this guy was maybe he could come and party with us.

He was gonna go lay on the couch for an hour before he had to be back at school, which meant I had to take him, which also meant I had an hour to look hot. I pulled out a yellow tank-top with a pair of jean shorts laid them on my bed and went to shower.

after I finished showering, I jostled my hair and decided to let it air dry and slipped on my outfit and applied eyeliner looking at the clock. Shit, he had to be back in ten minutes, I slipped on my flip flops and ran down the stairs waking a deep sleeping Colin.

"10 minutes!" I yelled and he jump off the couch running out the front door, he decided to drive and I only prayed for my life.

He ran inside leaving me alone to wander the halls after school, I went to my locker and grabbed a book I had left and slipped it in my bag. I turned a corner to see a fully dressed, ready to play Colin he just wrapped his arms around me singing "YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL TO MEEEEEEE!" I slapped his arm, I heard someone coming up behind us

"Andi this is Jordon" he waved and I returned the favor "Alright I gotta go rock the world you two crazy kids have fun" He winked "Just not to much fun" He ran down the hall leaving us in the silence

"Wanna go grab a seat?" I nodded, He wasn't that bad looking and he seemed really sweet, He was tall, tan and kinda looked a little like Colin, I froze. Did I really just say that? "I know this is awkward for you but I've been wanting to meet you since Colin mentioned you too me"

"Well Honestly, I had idea who you were till you walked up, He told me nothing!" He laughed "I mean you couldn't been some creeper!"

We had made our way to my favorite spot of the bleachers, I looked down to see Colin warming up on the field, he looked up and smiled, I just waved. "He likes you, you know?"

"no he doesn't he proved that when he used me and oh yeah he has a girlfriend!" I laughed and Jordon only shook his head no "I can promise you, he doesn't like me" I finished

"The way he talks about you, his face just likes up and he is always smiling when someone brings you up" I blushed "You like him too, I can tell" my face fell

"Look Jordon, I just didn't want you to find out, I'm trying to move on, besides you seem like a really nice guy" he smiled, he didn't look hurt at all

He leaned in really close and whispered in my ear "It's fine, you too seem to have chemistry' I rolled my eyes 'Let's make him jealous

"Uhh how?" He didn't say anything, he just leaned in really close and placed his lips to my neck, I let out a gasp and I felt him smirk. He pulled back, I finally opened my eyes and looked at him

"He looks pissed" He laughed and I turned to find him on the field and couldn't I assume he was lying to me.

The game had finally started and Colin's hand was still acting up so he was taken outta the game, I could tell in his expression that he didn't wanna go but he went. I told Jordon I would be back and I went and him sulking in the locker rooms.

I just went and wrapped my arms around him but he just pushed me off "Look I know you're made because you couldn't play tonight, but don't get shitty with me"

"You think I'm mad because of that stupid game? I'm glad I was taking out my head wasn't fully there and we need this win!" He shouted

"What in the hell is your problem then?" I shouted right back, he could be loud, I could too

"You up there in the stands with that guy!"

I stood there trying to figure out what he was talking "YOU!" I said pointing a finger at his chest "Set me up with him"

"biggest mistake of my life" He said turning away from me, before I could reply he started talking again "I just don't understand, you put me through so much, yet I can't move on!"

"Huh?" was all I could muster at the moment, he didn't even respond he just walked closer and started kissing me, his hands found my waist and my snaked around his neck, I wanted to stop it my body just wanted let me, he pulled away with a smile

"I've been wanting to do that since the last time I did that" I was still trying to catch my breath

"If-' I paused and swallowed "if you really like me as much as you claim, break up with her"

He shook his head no, "I can't, I have to get over this little crush I have on you, that's why I set you up with that guy but when I turn and saw his hands and lips all over you I got pissed baby, but I have to get over you"

"Why?" I questioned

'Your brother"

I nodded knowing what he meant, he couldn't lose his friendship, they had been friends since pre-k, I knew he was right and I couldn't have my brother hating me the rest of my life. But I wasn't gonna sit around and wait for him either

"i'm not gonna play games with you, Jordon is coming back to the house with me tonight and if you don't like it I don't give a damn" He just looked at me and nodding walking back out to the game, I just slide down the wall trying to collect my thoughts before leaving.

When did things become so complicated?
