"Ugh, my head. Where am I?"

I sat up but got pushed down by a warm hand.

"Shh. You're in the nurse's office, miss."

I tried to search the room for the voice that had just spoke to me, but to no avail, I had failed.

"Who are you?"

"I'm Derek. The boy who you saved from Vince."

I blushed deeply and smiled at him.

"Th-thanks new kid."

"Call me Derek Collins."

He held out his hand and smiled at me.

I shook his hand and said, "I'm Sophia Blade. I guess you must be the new kid I'm supposed to be showing around school."

I sat up again and heard the cracking of my ribs til I collapsed onto the ground.

"Fuck!"

"SOPHIA!"

Derek's voice was the last thing I heard before I passed out again.

"Babygirl. You there?"

I woke up and saw that Sid was by my side still but my dad and a woman was there beside me as well.

"Dad?"

"Oh thank god you're okay!"

I heard the cracking of my ribs again when my dad hugged me.

"DAD! BROKEN RIBS STILL!"

"Right. Sorry babygirl."

I see him kiss the woman and I look at him in horror.

"Guess your dad knows my mom. I guess your my new stepsister."

I gasped and looked at my dad to see him nod.

"NOOOOOOO!"

I then fainted again from too much stress. This was all too much for me to take.
