Forbidden Love

I later wake up in my own bed at home and I feel a hand in my hand.

I look over to see whose hand it is, and it's Derek's hand!

"Poor baby. He's fast asleep. Guess I scared him to death to the point that he must've cuddled my body til he passed out."

I started to shiver and suddenly felt arms around my waist.

"Hey Sophia. You're awake."

I blushed and kept my eyes from his, so I could immediately hide my tears.

"Ye-yeah. So, you're my new step-brother?"

"Not yet, but I think I will be soon."

I get up and say, "Well have fun at the wedding, cause I'm not going to be there."

I start to leave the room til I hear him close the door, lock it, and shut the blinds.

"What are you doing, Derek?"

He looked at me and said, "Do you believe in love at first sight?"

I blushed and said, "Yes. I sort of do. Why do you ask?"

He stepped closer to me like in my dream, and he smiled at me.

I backed away in horror and looked away from him.

"Sophia."

My name slipped off his tongue so gently, that made shivers go down my spine.

"What is this I'm feeling?"

I feel his arms around my waist suddenly, and I look down.

"Let me see those beautiful eyes of yours, Sophia."

"No. I'm a mess."

"Don't make me kiss you."

"WHAT?!?!?"

My heart almost jumped out of my chest when he said that.

His lips were inches from mine. What was I going to do now?

"Sophia."

Again, he said my name so smoothly that I wanted to kiss him, but I kept my distance from him for awhile.

"Derek."

His name slipped of my tongue so smoothly before I could comprehend what was going on.

I saw him smile and his lips get closer and closer to my lips.

What should I do now?
