In Too Deep

Chapter 7

When Vic woke up the next morning to the shrill sound of an alarm clock, he was convinced that yesterday was a dream. That's when he heard the like ticks against the window. He propped himself up on his elbows, shutting his alarm off in the process, and looked to see Kellin sitting on his window sill. The pale boy was lazily throwing rocks against Vic's window. He rolled out of bed, heading towards his window. Kellin wasn't paying attention to Vic's actions so when Vic pulled open his window Kellin threw another acorn.
"Ow. What the fuck?" Kellin looked up to find Vic with only plaid pj bottoms, rubbing his eyes like a sleepy 5 year old. He picked up the acorn that hit his forehead. "Is this a fucking acorn?"
"No, it's a fish." Vic threw the acorn back in Kellin's direction, completely missing him. Kellin slide onto the little roof and jumped between the small spaces of Vic's and his house. He causally walked over to Vic. When he got to Vic, he was quickly pulled into the Mexican's room.
"What are you doing?! That's dangerous!" Kellin pulled Vic into a hug. Vic held him tightly.
"Aw. Were you worried about me Vicky?" Kellin teased. Vic pushed him away with a disgusted face.
"Vicky? I'm not a girl." Kellin raised an eyebrow. "If anything you look more like a girl than me." He grabbed a drawstring that was hanging from Vic's pants bringing him closer. Vic placed his hands on his chest as he leaned in next to ear.
"I'm not a receiver Vic." Kellin placed a kiss on the smooth tan neck. Vic felt a blush creeping on his cheek as Kellin was slowly making his way down to his collarbone. Vic let his head fall back unconsciously, letting Kellin have more access. He couldnt help it, it felt so good. Kellin would stop every now in then sucking on the delicate skin. He wanted to leave a mark on Vic. He heard a whimpered as he bit down on Vic's collarbone.
"Kel, we have school in an hour." Vic was having trouble breathing as Kellin was making his way to Vic's lips.
"Your point?" Kellin's hot breath spread over his throat. Vic bit his lip to hold back a moan. Kellin capture his lips in a kiss. He felt Vic stepping backwards before falling on the soft bed. If anyone had told Vic that he would be, pretty much, making out with the most popular boy in school on his bed, he would say they were crazy. But here he was, Kellin on top of him as he pulled the boy closer. Vic heard his door open just as Kellin asked for entrance. He heard a gasp.
"Oh ew. Gross!" Mike stood in the doorway with his hands covering his eyes. Kellin got off of Vic and pulled him up after. Vic blushed when he realized how this must look. They were both on the bed, only wearing pj bottoms, and practically sucking each other's face off. "Okay that answers the question I was going to ask. And now I'm scarred for life."
"Haven't you ever heard of knocking?" Kellin watched as Vic looked annoyed at his brother. Mike scoffed.
"I shouldn't have to. He isn't even suppose to be here. Did he stay here last night?" Vic shushed his brother.
"Shut up! Mom and Dad are going to hear you." Mike got a mischievous grin. "Mikey I swear to god if you do anything to embarrass me I'll tell mom about your little smoking problem." Vic narrowed his eyes. Kellin just leaned against the wall, watching the brothers with an amused smile.
"Smoking isn't as bad as having a boy in my room. With the door shut I might add. That's mom's number two rule."
"You sneak out to parties."
"You sneak boys in your room."
"I don't have sex with the people I sneak in though."
"Touché." Mike scratched his chin. "So are you two together, together or friends with benefits?" Vic shifted on his feet. He and Kellin never spoke about what they were. I mean Amy was pretty much marking Kellin as her territory. Vic looked at Kellin, seeing a small smile on his face. Kellin wouldn't mind if they were in a relationship. A low kept relationship. He would get kicked off the football team if his homophobic coach found out.
"I guess we don't know yet." Kellin saw Vic was still looking at him with a questioning stare. Mike walk over to his brother, moving his hair away to reveal his neck. Kellin started laughing and fell to his knees holding his sides. "What?" Mike joined in with Kellin as Vic ran into his bathroom. He went to the mirror and pulled back his hair to see 10 purple marks. Then he looked to his exposed collarbone. There was a small bite mark there. Vic started looking for foundation to cover the hickies.
"Ah come on. Don't cover them. You liked it." Vic turned. Kellin was leaning on the doorway with his pants hanging loosely on his hips.
"I didn't like it." Vic whispered. Kellin hummed as he made his way, pinning Vic against the sink. Kellin brushed their lips together. He was teasing Vic.
"Hmm. You're lying." Vic turned so he was no longer facing Kellin. He grabbed the foundation from the pantry and took the sponge, dabbing the skin. When he got done with one Kellin licked the makeup off.
"What are you doing?"
"I don't want you wearing that." Kellin linked his arms together in front of Vic's stomach, brushing against the small scars.
"Why? It's not like we are going to tell the whole school we're together." Kellin got a predatory look in his eyes.
"I want everyone to know you belong to someone. Even if I can't come out and say so." Vic knew exactly why Kellin wouldn't tell anyone. His reputation. If everyone knew Kellin would get kicked off the football team, lose all his friends, and everyone would lose respect. Vic turned to face Kellin.
"If you could tell the whole school, wo-"
"In a heartbeat." Kellin interrupted. He gave the boy in front of him a small kiss. "I like you, Vic. A lot."
"I like you too but Kellin if i don't cover these my mom will know exactly who did it. Hell, Jaime and Tony could probably figure it out. Even without Mike's help." Kellin shook his head.
"Do you trust them?"
"Of course."
"Then I don't see why they can't know. As long as they are not screaming it from the rooftops, I'm fine with it." Kellin started walking out of the bathroom. "I'll meet you by the mailboxes."
"Okay." Vic smiled.
"And Vic?" Kellin peeked through the doorway. "If I see that any of those marks are covered up, I will personally make sure I take my sweet time licking all the makeup off." Vic raised a eyebrow as Kellin winked.
"I thought that it was supposed to be punishment." He tried to sound innocent. Kellin felt his jaw hit the floor. He swallowed looking at the tan boy in front of him.
"I know this is going to sound weird but you do not know how hot you are right now. I have to go." Vic smirked as Kellin ran to the window and hopped out. He really just needed to take a nice cold shower to get Vic off his mind. He jumped when he saw his mom sitting on the edge of his bed. "Ho- Jesus Christ mom! You scared the shit out of me." His mom laughed.
"So how long have you been with the Fuentes boy?" Kellin tensed and gave a nervous laugh.
"Mom, I'm not gay."
"That's weird. I could have sworn I saw you making out with the boy next door on his bed." Kellin was surprised to see his mom with a little twinkle in her eyes rather than a look of pure disgust.
"Why aren't you mad?" She got up from her spot on the bed and pulled her son in a tight hug. He returned the gesture.
"I could never be mad at my son for being who he is. Gay, straight, dog, rabbit-"
"I get it mom." He chuckled lightly. "Thank you. Dad would have probably tried to beat the gay out of me." His mom retracted from his arms and headed over to the bed.
"About your father...." Kellin narrowed his eyes.
"What about that asshole?"
"Kellin don't say that, he is still your father." Kellin pulled a blue button up shirt on. He didn't want to listen. His father had left them in a time where they needed him and he was having an affair with his secretary. "He's coming back."
"What?!" Kellin whipped around to see his mother standing there shyly.
"He's changed. He misses us. He misses you."
"Look what he did to us! What he did to Lily! He made you cry. How could you take him back?!"
"He wants to be a family again." His mom turned around to letting him change his pants. He grabbed his leather jacket and made his way to the bedroom door. He was beyond pissed.
"He ruined this family when he left. It will never be the same again." Kellin ran to the mailboxes, slamming the front door in the process, and sat with his knees to his chest. He was trying hard not to breakdown. He needed Vic.

*Vic's Morning*

After Kellin left, Vic returned the foundation to its rightful place. He had foundation because, well, let's just say freshman year does crazy things to a person. That's when Vic had just moved to California from Mexico and he hadn't really known anyone. Thankfully his mom was friends with Jaime's mom so they became best friends quickly. On the first day of school that's when he met Oli. Oli was the kid who sat in the back of the room and didn't talk to anyone (kind of like Vic is now).

*flashback*
Vic walked into the classroom with his schedule clutched in his hands. Everyone went quiet and looked at the small new kid. Vic swallowed and walked up to the teacher's desk.
"You must be Victor Fuentes." The teacher glared at him.
"Yes but I go by Vic." The teacher totally ignored him.
"You know it's an inconvenience for you to come in the middle of the year." The teacher got up from the desk and made his way around it to stand next to Vic. "This is Victor and he will be joining in our class."
"No shit, Sherlock." Vic turned to look at a boy with shaggy black hair, soft pale skin, and piercing blue eyes. The boy had a cocky smirk on his lips. Vic found the boy really attractive but he would never be with a person that seemed like a jerk.
"Mr. Quinn, if I hear your voice one more time it will be a detention." That was the first time Vic met Kellin. He had hated the boy from the moment he opened his mouth. Funny how they are so far from hating each other now. "Anyways Vic here was at the top of his classes at his old school. I trust you will treat him nicely. Any question for Victor?" A girl raised her hand. The teacher pointed at her and she stood up in her seat.
"Amy Henine." It was hate at first site. The platinum blonde hair fell down her shoulders. He face was caked with makeup that no freshman girl should be wearing. She was plastic. "Where are you from? Cause you certainly aren't American." Vic glared at her.
"I moved from Mexico." She gasped.
"I hope you have your papers cause if not-"
"Shut the fuck up Amy." Kellin interrupted. Amy looked at him like he hurt her. The teacher wrote something down on a piece of paper and handed it to the boy. "Great. Another detention." Kellin rolled his eyes.
"Okay enough. Vic you'll be sitting next to Oliver. Oliver raise your hand." In the very back of the classroom a hand came up with a few tattoos. Vic made his way over to the boy and took his seat quickly. Oliver looked him up and down making a 'not bad face'. He looked okay. Not scary or jerk-ish. He had shaggy short brown hair, sad hazel eyes, and a thin lanky body. He held out his hand for Vic's.
"I'm sorry. I don't really like touching people." Vic mumbled as the teacher started the lesson. Oliver shrugged.
"Nah, it's okay. My name is Oli Sykes." Vic heard a faint British accent in his voice. "And you are?"
"Oh I'm Vic."
"Have any friends here mate?" Oli started scribbling notes down from the board. Vic copied his actions.
"Uh yeah. Jaime." Oli chuckled next to him.
"The hyper tan dude with blown back hair." Vic nodded. "Yeah he's cool. I sit with him at lunch." Vic glanced at Oli who was now sitting back in his seat.
"Really?" Vic sounded excited. He would have a friend other than Jaime and his little brother. Oli smiled at him.
"I have a feeling I'm going to like you Vic. I could see is being good friends." Vic smiled back. He liked this kid.
*end of flashback*

Vic wiped his hands on his cheek. Why was he crying? That was a good memory. Oli was so normal then. It was only when he started hanging out with Vic and he watched as Vic was bullied into harming himself. When Oli had figured out about Vic's nightly activity he started crying. And then he just held Vic as they both cried. That had brought them closer. Vic made his way towards his dresser. He looked at the photo of Oli and him at their first concert together.
"I miss you." Vic whispered to the picture. What if Vic caused Oli to kill himself? He was fine until Vic became his friend. Tear pooled around his brown eyes and fell down his cheek. "I killed you. I killed my best friend." Vic glanced back at his bathroom where salvation was waiting, hidden under his sink. He quickly got dressed and threw on his hoodie. He ran down the stairs quickly. He wasn't going to do that after he was convinced this was going to be a good day. He ran into the kitchen where his family was eating breakfast.
"Sit down, Vic. We need to talk." Vic heartbeat pick up as he looked at his mom. His father had a newspaper in his face and Mike was shoving rice in his face. Vic cleared his throat as he took the vacant seat at the table.
"Yeah, mom?" His parents looked at each other. Did they see the marks when he and Kellin were sleeping?
"What's your relationship with that boy?" Mike coughed on his water. Vic gave a sigh of relief.
"Honestly... I don't really know. I mean, I like him." Vic's father smiled at him as he watched a blush spread along his son's cheeks. "I like him a lot."
"I can see that. Those are nice little," his father coughed. "um marks. Good job son." Vic hid his face in his hands.
"I thought you never kissed someone before." His mom piped in.
"I-i hadn't. Kellin was my first." Vic squirmed in his chair. This was so awkward to talk about with your family.
"That's so adorable." His mother started ranting in Spanish. Vic rolled his eyes. He went out his front door and head down the pathway. When he turned at the end towards the mailboxes, he stopped when he saw the huddled form that was Kellin.
"Kellin?" Blue eyes met brown. It looked like Kellin was going to start crying at any moment. Vic ran to his side and the only thing Kellin could think to do was to pull Vic into a deep kiss. They heard whoops and hollers but Kellin wasn't budging. "Kel..... Stop." He released Vic. Jaime and Tony stopped in front of the two boys' feet.
"So you two together now?" Vic helped Kellin to his feet as he gave him a look saying this conversation was far from over. Kellin responded by twisting their fingers together. He pulled Vic into another kiss. They pulled away and Kellin searched Vic's face. He cared for this boy with everything he had.
"Yes." Vic's eyes widened. Kellin said they were a couple? He felt his head start to spin. "But I need to keep it on the low for now." Jaime nodded. Tony, though felt like it was being unfair to Vic. If Jaime asked Tony in a closed relationship, even with his massive crush on him, he would say no. But Vic looked happier with Kellin and the fact that Vic let someone kiss him was enough to sell Tony's trust. Jaime smiled at Tony and he felt like his heart was going to jump out of his chest.
"You okay bro?" Jaime gave his friend a weird look. Tony had been staring at him when he thinks he isn't looking. Tony shrugged. Jaime held them back as Mike, Vic, and Kellin walked towards the school. "Seriously, what's up?"
"I don't know what you're talking about?" Tony sounded nervous.
"We are not leaving this spot until you tell me what's wrong." Jaime's usual smile was gone. Tony glanced at Vic. Jaime caught what he was doing. "Did you have a crush on Vic?" Tony thought about it for awhile. This would get Jaime off his back. Sure Jaime was into both genders but he always talks about getting with this girl in their chemistry class. It always made Tony so jealous and he wouldn't talk to them for the class.
"Yeah. You caught me." Tony said it nonchalantly. Jaime noted his rigid posture. He was lying to him.
"Oh, okay." Jaime coughed to break the tension. He grabbed Tony's hand pulling him to where their friends disappeared. Jaime felt hurt that Tony wouldn't tell him the truth. Kind of like when they have the same class and he makes jokes of all the people he would be with. He tightened their cupped hands when Tony tried to pull away. "You know you can tell me anything, right?" Jaime watched as in front of them Vic and Kellin went separate directions. That has to suck.
"I know." Tony whispered. He couldn't tell him.
"I'm going to go catch up with Mike and Vic, okay?" Tony nodded. Jaime smiled his big bright smile. He ran off to the entrance of the school where the others were.
"I love you." The wind carried Tony's voice to Jaime. His eyes widened as he looked back at his friend. Tony was walking towards them looking at the ground. He looked up at Jaime and his eyes brightened as their eyes met.
"You two okay?" Mike was looking in between the two boys. Jaime swallowed. There had to be another explanation. Tony couldn't be in love with Jaime.
"Yeah. We're fine." It was now Tony's turn to give Jaime a weird look. Something was off with him. They all split off to their classes. What a way to start off the day.

Yay update! I already have the ending of this story figured out. You may or may not like it. Hopefully the first. I already have ideas for more stories and stuff like that. Oh have you guy read the fanfics where Vic and Alex are together? What do you think? I can't see that happening. Honestly, Alex is pretty much Jack's property. XD Anyways, I love you guys. You are the best. I will try and update soon. Yay more Kellin and Vic kissing. But sadly they are always interrupted. I wonder who does that. ;) <3 - Nikkie
