In Too Deep

Chapter 8

Vic first three periods were really hard to pay attention to what the teachers were saying. Kellin was in a sour mood and it seemed like making Vic sexually frustrated in class was his entertainment. He had sat in the back with Vic and pulled his seat close enough to allow him to run his hand up his thighs. It got even worst when the teacher turned because Kellin would whisper some very suggestive things in the shy boy's ear. It also didn't help that he kept thinking about the way Jaime and Tony were acting. Jaime looked really scared this morning after they hung back to talk. It looked like Brandon ripped his heart out all over again.

*flashback*
"I don't like this guy." Oli grumbled. Jaime had just gotten his new boyfriend, Brandon Casin, who was a senior. Jaime threw his hands up in the air.
"You haven't even met the guy." Jaime said defensively. Vic couldn't believe that Jaime didn't tell them that he was in a relationship. It took Jaime a week to slip up and have to spill the beans.
"I don't like him because he is a senior dating a freshman. I have him in math and he doesn't exactly give off any vibe that he's interested in men." Oli shrugged. Vic was being a silent observer. He remembers Brandon to a t. He was at least 6 feet tall with a toned muscular body, dark eyes, and short spiked brown hair. He was a good-looking person.
"Hey baby!" Jaime ran forward and hugged the boy in front of them. He was given a small sweet kiss. Brandon noticed the couple wasn't alone and looked up at Oli and Vic. He ignored Oli's presence as he looked Vic over with a hungry look. He felt Oli lace their fingers together. The taller boy was looking at Brandon with such hatred. "This must be your friends. Introduce me?" Jaime nodded as he let go of Brandon's waist.
"This is Oli." Jaime stood in between his friends. Brandon didn't even look in Oli's direction. He was set on Vic. "And this is Vic." Brandon gave him a small smile that made Vic feel uncomfortable. Oli released his hand.
"I need to talk to you." Jaime opened his mouth to talk. "Now." Oli growled. Jaime glanced at Vic and Brandon. Brandon put his hand on Vic's shoulder.
"Don't worry. I'll take good care of him." He gave a wide smile at Jaime. Then the two boys went off and left Vic alone with a stranger. He shrugged off the older man's hand. "Seems like I picked the wrong friend." Vic fixed Brandon with a confused look. He took a few steps back, suddenly feeling like he was in danger.
"What?" Vic whispered.
"I should have picked you. How about a little fun on the side?" Vic shook his head. This wasn't happening. Brandon was joking. He started running his hands along Vic's sides. "Your body is so feminine but strong. You would be a great fuck." Vic smacked his hands away. He didn't like this. He felt dirty. This was his best friend's boyfriend feeling him up.
"I-if y-you don't-t st-top," Vic let out a breath. He had to sound convincing. "I will tell Jaime." Brandon let out a dark laugh.
"No you won't. Because if you do, I'll kill you." Vic saw Jaime waving them over with Oli standing beside him. "It was nice meeting you Vic. Think about it okay?" The older boy smacked and squeezed Vic's butt as he made his way to his friends.
After that unsettling encounter with Brandon anytime Jaime brought him along, Vic made sure to keep his distance. He even told Jaime about the little incident but he was ignored. They were together for months. Jaime was convinced that Vic and Oli were jealous so about a month into the relationship, Jaime stopped talking to them. Then one stormy night, Jaime showed up at his doorstep balling his eyes out. Vic brought him inside, gave him a pair of dry clothes, and set him down on the couch. He was still crying.
"Himes, what happened?" Jaime looked at the floor in shame.
"I had sex with him." He replied weakly.
"Isn't that a good thing?" Jamie shook his head. They stayed silent for awhile.
"I didn't want it to happen. He tore my clothes off and opened my legs and just-" He let out a little sob. Vic wrapped his arms around Jaime. "He took my virginity and there was nothing I could do about it." Mike and his friend stopped in the doorway.
"What did he say?" Vic whispered.
"He laughed at me once he was finished. He got dressed and told me to stop being a little bitch. That it is suppose to hurt the first time. That's when I ran here." Jaime pulled out of Vic's embrace. "It hurt so much Vic. He didn't even let me get use to it." Mike's friend crossed the living room and pulled Jaime into a hug.
"I'm Tony." The boy said. He had tan skin, chubby cheeks, and black mohank type hair. He pulled away to look into Jaime's eyes. "You didn't deserve that. I promise I will always be there when you need me." Jaime threw himself in Tony's arms. He was gripping his shirt in fistfuls as he cried.
*end of flashback*

Tony was true to his word. If Jaime needed anything, he would drop everything. It didn't really surprise Vic to find that Tony liked Jaime. He saw it coming. They were just too close for friends, even if Jaime wouldn't admit it. It was love at first sight. The older boy just won't put his feelings in action in fear that he will just get hurt again.
Vic felt a poke on his shoulder. He snapped out of his day thoughts to find that Kellin's hand was gone and someone else was poking him. He moved his head to see Austin Carlile looking right at him. Austin was a nice guy. He was captain of the baseball team and has been chasing after the preacher's daughter. He was tall, lanky, and had his short hair spiked sort of making a mohawk. He pointed a finger at Vic's neck.
"Where did you get those?" Vic heard Kellin chuckle. "Woah man, are you blushing?" Vic hid his face behind his hair.
"Don't worry about it." Vic started trembling. Austin shrugged and went back to paying attention to the lesson. He felt hot breath spill down his neck. "Kellin." Vic kept his voice low but stern. He only got a hum as the boy stretched out in his seat.
"Vic?" Kellin said mockingly. He was looking at Vic with a cocked head and a little smile curling on his lips.
"For someone who wants this to stay low, you're certainly being hands on."
"This is my last class with you. Got to make it count." Kellin discretely slinked his hand around Vic's waist, slipping something in his pocket. The bell rang as Kellin pulled away his hand, putting on a annoyed expression. "Bye Darling." And with that Kellin walked towards the lunch room. Vic started looking for his friends once he made it to the quad. He looked at the abandon grassy area where Oli once stood. Vic hurried over to their usual table where Tony was looking at Jaime as if the older boy slapped him.
"What's going on?" Mike looked at his brother from where he was reading a book. He shrugged. Vic took the seat next to him.
"I don't know. Tony tried to sit next Jaime and Jaime freaked. He moved to the other side." The tables are square an each side has a bench that can sit two people. Vic and Mike occupied one an Tony was sitting across from Jaime.
"Why are you being weird?!" Tony was glaring at Jaime.
"What are you talking about?"
"You always sit by me. What's your problem today?" Tony shot up and was now standing in front of Jaime. Jaime cautiously rose up to leave but Tony stopped him. "Will you stop running and just tell me what's going on?" Jaime felt his heart racing.
"Just leave me alone!"
"No! I'm not leaving someone I care about in the dust." Tony was surprised to feel Jaime's lips against his. Vic smiled towards his brother who had a look of confusion. Then as if realizing what he was doing, Jaime ran as far as he could. He couldn't go to chemistry. He couldn't face Tony after what he did. He stopped in the middle of the park lot. He was breathing heavy as he heard footsteps stop behind him. He expected Vic or Mike but instead it was Tony. "We should have never cut gym." Tony gave a joking smile.
"You're not mad at me?" Tony frowned. He was far from being mad at Jaime. The usual hyper boy looked so scared right now.
"Why would I be mad at the guy I had a crush on since the moment I saw him?" Jaime's eyes widened as Tony looked at him shyly.
"Why did you run after me?" Tony rolled his eyes.
"I always run after you." Jaime closed the distance between them, connecting their lips again. It was short and sweet but it was enough for both boys to get dizzy.
"Please, never stop." Tony kissed him again. Leave Jaime? That's impossible now.
"I love you." He felt Jaime tense so Tony laced their fingers together. He instantly relaxed.
"I love you too." The boys kissed one last time before walking back into school, hands clutched together.

Vic watch as Tony ran after Jaime. That was cute.
"What the fuck just happened?" Vic shrugged.
"Our best friends are together."
"Am I the only one who likes women here?"
"No, you're not." Vic whipped around to see Kevin standing there, hands deep in his pockets. Mike stood if front of Vic protectively. He wasn't going to let his brother become a punching bag after he just started smiling. "Relax. I just want to talk to Vic. Alone if you don't mind?"
"I do mind." Mike snapped. "You're not going to hurt my brother." Kevin raised an eyebrow.
"Who said I'm going to hurt your brother? I would never do that." Kevin sat next to Vic. "My older brother is gay. I would never treat someone different because they love the same gender." Mike went to yell at Kevin but Vic put a hand on his arm.
"It's okay Mike. Go find Jaime and Tony." Mike grunted and walked off. Vic turned to Kevin. "Y-yes?" He cursed himself for stuttering.
"So you and Kellin?" Kevin winked at him. Vic moved his attention to the marks on the table.
"I don't like Kellin. He's a jerk." Kevin laughed.
"You should really pay attention to who your neighbors are. I live right across from you guys." Vic felt so stupid.
"Please nobody can know about this." He clapped his hands together and gave Kevin a puppy dog face.
"Dude stop." Kevin scrunched up his face. "I'm not Jake and I am certainly not Amy. I don't give a fuck. I just want my friend to be happy."
"Why are you different?" Vic narrowed his eyes.
"First of all, I'm a virgin." Kevin laughed at Vic's face. It looked so surprised. "Yeah I know. I also know everything Kellin went through and why he is what he is today. I consider him my best friend."
"What has he gone through?" Vic felt like he was invading Kellin's privacy but now he was interested. Kevin shook his head.
"I'm afraid I can't tell you that. It's his decision whether he wants you to know." The bell rang and students started heading towards classes.
"Why did you come talk to me then?" Kevin looked over to see that Kellin was giving him a questioning gaze.
"You make him happy Vic. Just give him time and he'll come out of his shell. He just needs you there. That's why he always defended you. See ya." Kevin got up and started to walk away. He turned back. "I'll be here if you want to talk. I live right across the street." He winked and walked away. Vic was at a complete lose for words. That was so weird. Oh shit. He forgot to check what Kellin put in his pocket. He dug out a tiny piece of paper and unfolded it.
'Meet me after 4th period by the library'
All of 4th period Ms. Terrace was trying to get Vic's attention. He was pretending to have homework even though he already finished it. He didn't want to talk to her because he knew as soon as she asked question, he would tell her everything. So he pretty much went back to the first day of this class, not talking and just being there to get his work done. Once the bell rang he slowly made his was towards the library. When the hallways emptied out and Kellin was nowhere in sight, Vic felt like he was crazy for even doing this. Before he could leave someone pulled him into the dark janitors closet and someone pushed him against the door.
"Hey." Kellin's voice came through the darkness. Vic found his arms being pulled around the other boys neck.
"H-hi." Kellin chuckled.
"Aw, do I still make you nervous?" Vic smacked Kellin in the back of the head lightly.
"Shut up." Vic felt his face start to heat up.
"I can practically feel you blushing. You're so adorable."
"Kel, stop." Vic felt soft lips on his. He tangled his fingers into the soft dark locks. Kellin pulled away, hearing Vic whine in protest. He laughed.
"For somebody who just started this, you're really good at it. And this time we have no interruptions."
"What about football?" Kellin pushed his whole body onto Vic, pinning him to the wall.
"I have someone taking care of that." He put his hands on the tan boy's hips. "Right now. It's your time." Vic smiled. They spent the whole period just, well, being in each other's 'presence'.
"Kel, what are we exactly?" They were straightening out their clothes. Kellin had to admit Vic was getting very good at the whole making out thing.
"What do you want us to be?" Kellin was looking at Vic's nervous posture. He raised an eyebrow.
"I want to be in a relationship with you but-" Vic paused. "I don't want to worried that if I turn around you go home with someone else." Kellin scoffed.
"I may seem like a jerk but when I say I'm in a relationship, I mean it." He gave Vic a quick kiss. "So want to be my boyfriend?" Vic thought about it. This would be his first relationship ever. Did he want to share that with Kellin?
"Yes. I would love that." Vic looked at the boy in front of him. "I can't say I love you, just yet." Kellin nodded and pulled the teen in his arms.
"That's understandable." Their lips reconnected. "I like you Vic." Vic gave a little giggle. He felt as if he was in grade school again. Maybe this year won't be so bad.
"I like you too."
