Weeping for Willow

The big weeping willow tree growing by the river had been there as long as anyone could remember. Elly and Samantha became best friends under the tree. Gwynn got her first kiss under the tree. Billy got his first broken arm by trying to climb the tree. Genevieve came to sit under the tree and finish her homework. Dylan and his grandfather had a picnic under the tree every Sunday afternoon, and when his grandfather died, Dylan still came every Sunday with a picnic for two. Brenna wrote music under the tree.
