Nyx is commonly described as heartless and ruthless. No one dares get in her way or question her. Being born one of the rare faeries under all 4 elements she's capable of inflicting serious damage, not to mention her extensive physical training to do so.
She's always been a natural huntress, and with that she obviously doesn't feel guilty about her kills. Or would-be kills in the case of Ryker. If she had of killed him on spot it would have been easy but she was so confused when he asked about her wings. Her wings she'd spent forever trying to hide. Humans couldn't see them but it had said in his file Ryker was very human. Which must be a lie or Nyx wouldn't be in this situation.
