Run Away With Me.

I'll wrap my arms around you now.

"Alex, your shirt is crooked."

Alex glanced down at his shirt, raising an eyebrow and then turning back to look at his stressed out tour manager and close friend.

One would assume that after a whole decade of working with the four children of All Time Low, a wedding would be as easy as pie to Flyzik since he wasn't even the one organising it. One would be very, very wrong.

It was like he was a father trying to get his kid ready for the biggest day of his life, when Alex only really needed Flyzik to relax and be one of his groomsmen for the day.

"My shirt's tucked into my pants. It's not crooked." He deadpanned.

"Well then... Your body is crooked!"

"Matt. Calm down." Rian soothed, grabbing the shorter man by the shoulders and steering him away from the groom.

Alex offered Rian a thankful smile before he looked at himself in the mirror. He was struggling with his tie and with Flyzik pestering him about how his shirt was out of place, when it really wasn't, it was taking much longer than he thought it would.

He was decked out in the same suit that he'd gotten while on the Spring Fever tour the year before. Alex liked it because of the tailored fit, the dual colours and stuff; and since Riley liked it and said she didn't mind if he wanted to use that to the wedding, he gladly took up her offer. At least he wouldn't have to go suit shopping and he wouldn't be in the same suit as his groomsmen, with only a different tie colour to separate him from them.

He did get a tie made to specifically match the suit, though. The top bit was white, contrasting against the black while the rest was black, contrasting against the white.

On his feet were a pair of brand new black Vans that Riley had bought for him for the wedding since she knew how much he despised dress shoes. He could never find a perfect pair and since he was on tour a lot, he didn't exactly have that much free time to go shoe shopping. Riley said it didn't even matter if he wanted to come in flip-flops. Although... She did then proceed to say that if he showed up in flip-flops, she'd turn around and walk away.

Sure, Riley wasn't all that into the whole wedding planning, but she drew a line at wearing flip-flops to their wedding.

Jack chuckled from the doorway, watching as Alex fumbled with his tie - tongue poking out at the corner of his lip. Alex looked up, pouting his bottom lip exaggeratedly, silently pleading with Jack to help him with the tie.

He let out another chuckle but moved forward, helping Alex do it up and then fastening it up his neck; adjusting it so that it lay perfectly with his suit. White on black and black on white.

"Can you believe it?" Alex asked softly, his eyes distant as he smiled.

"Hmm?"

"I'm getting married." He breathed, directing his gaze to Jack's.

"I never saw it coming, either." Jack laughed, Alex following suit not long after. "But I'm happy for you, man. Riley... She changed you, and not in a bad way. You're different and I don't really know how, but you're just so... I don't know, man. I mean, Ri's changed too, obviously, but it's like you both, just, I don't know, work together so well. It's like you were a match made in Heaven or something."

Alex smiled, chuckling softly. "Is that the best man pep talk I've heard about?"

Jack shrugged, grinning cheekily. "I've been a best man twice now, you don't get to judge me."

Alex let out a small laugh. "Thanks."

"For what?" Jack glanced up at Alex, amused.

"For being my best friend."

Riley sucked in a deep breath as she pulled her dress on, as carefully as she could. She felt like the dress was made of glass, even though it clearly wasn't. She'd just never worn something as extravagant as that before.

The top part of the dress was patterned with sequins and floral designs, ending only at the sash around her waist. A small bit of her back was exposed, and then there were buttons that led to the same sash - which would later be tied into a perfect bow. She wouldn't doubt that it wouldn't be perfect. What with the way her bridesmaids were freaking out, she knew it would be perfect.

"Get out here before I drag you out, woman." Ariana, her maid of honour, warned, making her laugh before doing as she had asked.

She'd met Ariana in the café, almost two years ago. She was much like Riley was - lost. She came to the café, seeking refuge in the little shop, and just observing her surroundings. Riley, one day, decided to just join her while she drank. Ariana was surprised at first, but they ended up talking about nothing in general, having a laugh here and there. They just... Clicked.

And there was also the fact that Linc had been crushing on her ever since she'd walked in - much like Riley was with Alex - so Riley used that to her advantage. The pair had, eventually, gotten together and Riley still hadn't stopped teasing Linc about her like he teased her about Alex.

"You look beautiful." Ariana whispered under her breath, her eyes turned glassy as she held both of Riley's hands in her own.

"Don't cry." She warned, laughing a little. "You're allowed to cry later."

"Deal." Ariana laughed, going to work on the bow behind Riley.

Once she was done, Riley was shown to a full-length mirror. And for once, Riley actually felt beautiful. Her blonde hair was pulled into a messy, yet elegant, up-do with two small, separate, curled sections framing her face. Grey eyeshadow and black winged eyeliner lined her grey eyes, and a light shade of pink coated her lips. She wasn't a particularly big fan of extravagant earrings, so after much begging (to her maid of honour and bridesmaids) they finally allowed her to just use her normal set of studs - multiple piercings all in place. They still weren't happy about it, though.

Ariana's arms wrapped around her middle gently, resting her chin on Riley's shoulder. "Beautiful." She smiled.

"I'm going to cry." Cassadee suddenly spoke up, fanning at her eyes while laughing; making the other ladies laugh.

It was like a chain reaction, for the next thing Riley knew, almost all of them were crying. Riley was no exception, either, but she was getting married in a while, she couldn't cry and destroy her prettified face.

"Thank you." Riley smiled, pulling them all into hugs.

"For what?"

Riley shrugged. "For being my friends."

Flyzik smiled at his girlfriend as they started to walk down the aisle, them being the first couple to do so. Then came Zack, who was paired with one of Alex's childhood best friend.

Alex had introduced them to each other one day and although he had been nervous about Riley being jealous that he was rather close friends with someone of the opposite sex - like he knew some women would probably be - she was totally cool with her. In fact, the two had actually grown as close as she and Alex were.

Rian, along with Cassadee, was next. Riley couldn't help but wonder when they would get married. But then again, they were young, they were both musicians and they were literally perfect for each other. There was no doubt that they would be together for a long time.

"Hey, you okay?" Linc whispered as he nudged Riley gently in the side.

She turned to him, eyeing him up down before she nodded, sighing softly, leaning her back into him. For someone who was almost always in t-shirts and skinny jeans, he cleaned up well in the tux that he was decked out in.

"You don't wanna back out? I won't mind if you do want to." He asked again, earning a shove in the shoulder as he laughed. "I'm kidding, I'm kidding."

"I just... I guess I'm kinda... I don't know... Scared." She mumbled, shrugging her shoulders.

He frowned. "Elaborate."

Riley shrugged again. "What if he gets tired of me? What if he just wakes up one day and realises what a big mistake he did by asking me to marry him? What if --"

"Stop." Linc frowned, placing a hand over her mouth. She shot him a glare, peeling his hand off of her mouth. "You're being stupid."

She smiled at him weakly. "Am I?"

"Yes." He frowned. "You don't see the way he looks at you. You don't hear the complete adoration in his voice when he talks about you. He wants this more than he wanted the band to be signed - he actually told me that. He's never wanted anything more than he wants you."

Riley laughed. "I guess I am being stupid, huh?"

"Ridiculously." Linc nodded smugly. He offered her his arm, bowing his head down a little. "Shall we?"

Riley looked towards the aisle, noticing that Jack and Ariana had reached the altar, Jack taking his place next to Alex and - by the way that Alex was biting down on his bottom lip - was probably whispering dick jokes to the groom.

She took in a deep breath, hooking her arm through Linc's. "Let's do this."

Marriage.

The formal union of a man and a woman, typically recognized by law, by which they become husband and wife.

The largest step that two separate people could take that would eventually bind them together forever. Not physically, of course, because that would just be plain weird, but emotionally.

In which they would be there for each other, through the harshest of times and happiest of moments, in sickness and in health to death do they part.

The wedding that brought Riley Van Acker and Alex Gaskarth together was different, to say the least.

For one, Alex was stuttering and nervous when he said his vows while Riley was completely cool, calm and collected. For two, Alex, being the impatient person that he usually was when it concerned Riley, swooped in and kissed her before the priest could even finish his line of "you may now kiss the bride." Thirdly, he may or may not have shouted "fucking finally" once they parted, earning way too many glares; to which he sheepishly smiled in response to, and then proceeded to run away, Riley's hand in his, both of them laughing madly as they did so.

The couple had also allowed the fans living in Towson to come to the wedding, so as long as they didn't disturb the wedding. They'd all merely responded with numerous tweets and Tumblr posts that Riley and Alex were "the most perfect couple ever" and that no one would want to ruin their special day, also thanking them for letting the fans attend the wedding.

The wedding also made Riley realise that she actually had other family members that weren't the aunt and uncle that had taken her in after her parents' death. They were estranged, due to certain conflicts, but when they found out about what had happened to her parents and how Riley had been forced into therapy, they wanted to take her in - to show her that she wasn't as broken as everyone told she was.

But past was past, and Riley accepted them with open arms, also accepting their apologies of not being there for her.

What mattered now was the future.

The future which involved Alex Gaskarth, that is.

"Hey, Riley Gaskarth." Alex grinned, snatching up her hand and entwining their fingers together as they walked towards his car, the guests watching them as they walked.

"Yes, Alex Gaskarth?" Riley grinned back. She couldn't help but love the way her new last name rolled off of his tongue.

"Remember what I made you promise?"

She raised an eyebrow. "That you'd find a way to get us away?"

"Yeah." He chuckled, nodding. "We're going to be alone for ten days. No friends, no family, no fans, no nothing. Just you and me. It's not much, but it's all I can offer."

She let out a small chuckle of amusement. "You kept your promise."

"I told you we'd find a way, didn't I?"

He stopped walking, releasing their entwined hands in favour of placing his hands on either side of her hips, smiling down at her. Alex leaned down slightly, placing his lips onto hers, dragging out their simple kiss - laughing breathily at the cat calls and wolf whistles coming from his best friends. He pulled back, leaning his forehead down on hers.

"Ready to finally run away with me?"
