Garden of Shadows
The mind can seldom control what the heart wants. What happens when Bane has a second chance at redemption? A connection that he forges early in his career while still a foot soldier in the League of Shadows stays with him till the end.
It's the story of the Cosette, an enslaved child that he was able to save from the darkness of men. As a grown woman she has caught the attention of Bane's most esteemed, and devoted friend Barsad. Soon a choice by all will have to be made.
Please note: I don't own any main characters. Most of Bane's backstory comes from Nolan-verse while I have also mixed in some from DC comics. The most important thing from DC is that the mask supplies Bane with Venom, which is a steroid giving him his super powers(strength and inability to feel pain). Venom is an addiction.
Also Cozet will later take the name Cosette Dubois so I know her name is 'misspelled' in the first chapter. She is based off the Les Miserables character Cosette Fauchelevent.
