Sorry

I slept at the couch with Mike’s shirt still on me. And when I woke up in the morning, I could smell something good in the kitchen – probably pancakes or something and my stomach was rumbling.

Living under the same roof as Mike Fuentes wasn’t what I wanted but it was more than I ask. I liked the guy and I was hoping that he’d like me because duh, he kissed me.

However I then realized that I still had to go to school.
But how could I go to school in this state? Sure, for now I was staying with Mike but I wouldn’t stay with him forever. I need money and that was one of the things I didn’t have with me. I didn’t even have my clothes with me. Not even my underpants. I felt hopeless all over again.

I came back to earth when I heard my name was being called. I looked up to the person and it was Mike’s mother. She was dressed nicely and she was holding two bags.

“Hey there, Tony. Are you staying over?” she asked. Her voice was so soft and she sounded enthusiastic.

“Yeah,” I answered. “I’m sorry.”

“Don’t be sorry,” she smiled. Her smile was warm and I liked it. “I’ll be goi
