This is a world both the same but different. Everyone is born with a timer on their wrist. Numbers that fluctuate as the days go by--rising and falling with daily decisions you make. Days that represent how long until you meet your soul mate--your one true love--the one you are supposed to be with. Forever.
But not everyone has a fairy tale ending, a happily ever after. Things aren't always what they seem, and time is a cruel mistress.
