They met in 2nd grade and were rivals until the 8th. Six years was a long time to hate someone, but it all changed in a matter a day when Johns grandmother died and she saw him cry at school. Her mother helped her bake a batch of cookies for him and they became his favorite. His mother made him go to Noah's house and personally apologize for all the rude things he had done and thank her for her good deed to him. He had grown up in a matter of days and was certainly not the same little boy who shoved his chewing gum in her hair.
Since that day, the two were practically joined at the hip.
