Korrissa Lukay was happy with her life. She was currently in her third year of college, helping to produce best-selling records with her father, and was well on her way to the long-waited career of becoming a published author. She had a best friend to stick by her side, and was as stubborn as they come.

Brian Haner Jr, better known as Synyster Gates, was doing great; his band had just gotten into the studio to record a new album, he was happy, despite the fact that his girlfriend of seven years left three months previous. Still, he was doing fine with the comfort of his friends and music.

Korrissa and Brian don't exactly connect with their first meeting, but sometimes things are just meant to be.

But there's always an alternative to everything.
