Bella’s POV
I showed the security my pass and so did Jas. He gave us a smile and let us through. I spotted James real fast, signing an autograph for a little boy. His mom seemed so into her phone conversation she didn’t even notice the boy asking her to take a picture of James and him. I walked over and kneeled down and told him I would take a picture. James smiled at me and I picked the boy up as James reached for him. I got his camera and took a picture of the beaming boy and James.

“Here you go hun” I told him once James handed him back over to me.

“Thanks!”

I nodded and I turned to James.

“Hiya James she’s your biggest fan!”

James smiled at Jas and laughed as he looked at me.

“Really?”

She nodded and I rolled my eyes. I looked at James who was smiling up at me.

“No” I said shaking my head lightly.

He laughed and stood up. He walked around the table and pulled me into a hug.

“You smell good”

I looked up at him and smiled.

“Do I?” I asked.

He nodded slowly and kissed my cheek.

“Yea”

I saw a flash go off and I looked at James. He was looking around trying to see where the flash had come from. He shrugged and looked down at me.

“You smell good too” I told him.

He smiled and I slightly pulled away. I laughed when I heard his stomach growl.

“Let’s go eat” I told him.

He nodded and pulled me into a kiss.

“You didn’t give me a kiss hello”

I rolled my eyes and looked up at him.

“You gave it though” I said.

He frowned and I laughed.

“Ok ok” I said getting his face and crashing my lips onto his.

He smiled and I pulled away.

“You good?” I asked him.

He laughed and nodded.

“Yea come on I’m starving”

He pulled Jas close to him and slung an arm around her shoulder.

“So what did Eric make?”

“Food”

I laughed and he pulled me closer to him.

“You guys realize they took a shitload of pictures”

James shrugged and looked down at her.

“So? If they want to talk let them”

Jas smiled up at him.

“I like you James, keep him around Bells”

I laughed and we got to my car. I laughed as Jas pushed James to the passenger seat. James laughed and got into the car. He turned on the radio as I put on my seatbelt. Miss Jackson began playing and Jas smiled and began singing along

“Have you seen Adam and Lisa’s exhibition to this?” I asked.

James turned the volume down and Jas nodded.

“Its’ beautiful! That backflip though”

James looked at me and I glanced at them.

“They haven’t tried it on the ice” I said.

She nodded and James glanced at me.

“You know how they are” I said.

He looked at me and nodded. He smiled and chuckled.

“So they are performing to this song?”

“Most likely”

I laughed and glanced at him.

“You guys are going to the game right?”

“Yea, some loser invited us”

James looked at Jas and chuckled.

“That loser got you good seats”

“Crosby got me better seats” I said.

James looked at me surprised and I laughed.

“Watch when we get out of the car”

I heard Jas laugh and as soon as we got to Eric’s diner I bolted out of the car. I heard James laugh and I made it to the door. I shrieked when I felt myself be lifted off my feet.

“He got you better seats?”

“Yes!” I said as he poked my sides.

I laughed and poked his sides. He almost dropped me, but he pulled me up. I laughed and looked up at him.

“Yea well Crosby can’t do this”

He pulled me into a kiss. I let him enjoy this so I kissed back. I pulled away and his nose brushed against mine.

“He is around here. Let’s see” I started pulling away from him.

He pulled me back to him and frowned.

“No”

I laughed and kissed James’ cheek.

“I kid the only one I kiss like that is you” I said.

“You better”

I looked up at him and smiled.

“Why?” I asked him as I touched his jaw.

“Cause I won’t allow it”

“Oh I know you jealous boy” I said kissing him.

He nodded and smiled at me. He turned and I followed his gaze to see Eric with a disgusted look on his face.

“If you two are done”

I looked at Eric and smiled.

“Our usual” I said.

He nodded and I got James’ hand. We walked to the table and I smiled at Pascal.

“You know I can’t wait forever for a surgery” I told him.

He smiled and I kissed his cheek. I hugged his wife and I looked at Sidney.

“So James was wondering if I can kiss you” I started as I winked at Sid.

He raised an eyebrow and looked at James who was frowning.

“I did not say that”

I looked at Sidney and he looked up at me with a smile.

“Ok”

James’ eyes narrowed and I smiled as Sidney leaned in and kissed my cheek.

“Yup definitely better than James” I joked.

James laughed and shook his head. I walked over to James and he wiped my face. I laughed and he pulled me into a kiss.

“Ok there hold on” I said pulling away. I sat down and leaned on James.

Adam walked in with his duffle bag and all. He coughed and smiled at us.

“Hi sweetie!”

He smiled at Jas and put his duffle bag in the back. He gave me a wink and I gave him two thumbs up.

“You got the backflip?” I asked him.

He nodded and began saying hello to everyone.

“Yea I did. I ate shit the first time. Had a helmet on though”

I nodded and everyone looked at him.

“Did your hands get burned?”

“Nah I had gloves on. They are a little red”

Jas nodded and he sat down across from me.

“I am starving”

I nodded and looked at James.

“Have you started your homework? I asked him.

“I finished half already, but if you could help me with my calculus homework?”

I nodded and smiled.

“Of course” I said.

He nodded and Eric nodded.

“Usual?”

Adam nodded and rubbed his eyes.

“How was work?”

“A lady with a bar through her chest came in”

I nodded and I looked at her.

“Yea, I got stuck with stitching today” I said.

“That’s cause you still refuse to do ortho surgeries”

I laughed and James turned to me.

“Thought you weren’t afraid of that anymore?”

“I am not, I just didn’t want to do that surgery” I said.

“Well what was it?”

I looked at Pascal and took a sip of my water.

“Spine surgery” I said.

I shook my head and I made a face.

“I don’t mind seeing it but I’m not even close to be doing those types of surgeries. I sat out on it and Leonard punished me” I said.

Chris jogged in and pointed at me.

“Leonard scheduled you in for hip replacement tomorrow at noon”

I nodded and James looked at me.

“Guys quit being annoying” I said.

James laughed and looked at me.

“Is there any way I can see these operations?”

I looked at him and Chris nodded.

“Yea man you wanna see an ortho surgery though?”

James nodded and he looked at me.

“I want to see why they make her so ugh”

I laughed and Chris smiled.

“Ok tomorrow I’m scheduled to help in Shoulder replacement. It’s at 8am though”

James nodded and smiled.

“I’ll be there”

“What did you get yourself into” I told him.

He leaned back on his chair and looked at me.

“I’m sure it isn’t that bad”

“I never asked you guys. Chris what do you focus on?”

“General”

“Yet you do a lot of ortho though”

“Transplants and what not. I get ortho surgeries because Leonard loves me. I do most gen surgery though”

Sidney nodded and looked at Jas.

“Pediatrics”

They all looked at her and she nodded.

“So you do anything you want on a tiny body?”

“Way to word it Beau. Yea I guess I do”

Beau made a face and I laughed.

“It’s confirmed”

James nodded at Chris and I looked at him.

“You may not want to eat anything” I told him.

He rolled his eyes and got his steak. I was totally serious here.
