Seventy Seven
Bella’s POV
I walked over to James who gave me a tired smile.
“Good game” I told him as I kissed his cheek.
He pulled me into a hug and I rubbed his back.
“I know you hate to lose, but you will make the playoffs” I told him.
He nodded and I looked up at him. I pecked his lips and he looked around.
“Where’s Isaac?”
“With Jas somewhere” I said looking around.
He laughed and nodded.
“Let’s go home I’m exhausted”
I nodded and he pulled me closer to him. I found Jas walking over to us and she smiled.
“He is so cranky”
James laughed and took Isaac. Isaac immediately cuddled up to his neck.
“He’s been up pretty early”
I nodded.
“I’m exhausted, but I’m starving”
I laughed and followed James out as I waved at some of the girls I bumped into. Isaac was asleep by the time we got to the car. I turned to James who yawned and handed me the keys.
“I can’t drive. My legs feel like Jello”
I nodded and he helped me into the car. I turned on the car as he made his way around. He got into the car and looked at me.
“I am exhausted”
I turned to him and then glanced at Isaac.
“I can tell. Your face just reads exhaustion” I told him as I pulled the car into reverse.
“I still want some chicken nuggets”
I laughed and nodded.
“We will get those” I said as we left the CONSOL.
I stopped on the red light and saw James was giving me a lazy smile.
“Yes?” I asked.
He laughed and leaned back.
“I like that you put on my jersey after the game”
I smiled and began driving.
“I had to make you happy somehow” I told him.
He laughed.
“Are you wearing anything under?”
“Yea James” I said.
He sighed.
“Such a waste”
I laughed and pulled into the McDonalds. James sat up a little and I laughed.
“Don’t laugh you’re gonna eat too”
“I want icecream” I said.
He looked at me like I was crazy.
“It’s not snowing” I told him.
“You’re still crazy”
I laughed and he leaned over me and began ordering his food. I just want chicken nuggets more like I want one of everything.
“Don’t tell Gary”
I laughed and looked at him.
“I’ve never met him. I’m always working when he comes over” I said.
“Well he likes you”
I nodded.
“He doesn’t like the fact that you have potato chips in the house, but then I told him you were a surgeon. Said you were allowed to eat whatever you wanted and what not”
I laughed and nodded. He turned to me and smiled.
“Do you want to go to Whitby?”
I glanced at him and shrugged lightly.
“It would be nice to see where you grew up” I told him.
He grinned and sat up a little.
“You will love it”
I turned to the window to see the bags of food. I got them and James reached over and handed them his credit card. I turned to check on Isaac and saw he was fast asleep.
“Have a nice day”
“Thank you” I said as I began driving.
James began digging through the bags and I laughed.
“James stop being fat” I told him.
“I didn’t eat dinner today. Sid lied about there being food. When we got out there was food and all I got to eat was a hotdog and that’s cause I took it with me to the locker room”
I laughed and leaned back a little on the seat.
“Well there was food at home” I told him as the light turned green.
“Yea well I wanted Mc Donalds. The Playoffs are coming and well I need to be well”
I nodded and pulled into the house. James reached for the button and the gate opened. He got out of the car with his food and I got out as well. I opened the back door and carefully lifted Isaac. He groaned against my shoulder as I adjusted him in my arms.
“We’re gonna change you into your PJs and then bed time” I told him.
He nodded and yawned lightly. I walked into the house to see James sitting in his boxers on the couch. He was eating a burger and chicken nuggets. He glanced up and I laughed at him as I made my way upstairs. I got Isaac into his Pjs and into bed. He was exhausted, but then again he did spend most of his time cheering for James.
I walked back downstairs and I smiled at james.
“Do you want anything to drink?” I asked him.
“I have water”
I nodded and sat down. He offered me food and I shook my head.
“I have some chicken nuggets around there” I said.
He nodded and leaned back. I got his suit and began laying it out.
“So when do you want to go to Whitby?”
I looked at him and shrugged.
‘During the summer, I can get a few days off” I said.
He nodded.
“I think I’m staying here during the summer”
“James you have workout. My mom is coming over during the summer so you know Isaac won’t be alone. I think Adam is doing summer school” I said.
He glanced at the stairs and I laughed when I saw Isaac walking over to us. He got on the couch and cuddled up in between us.
“Well we have a kid now. I don’t want to leave him. I’ll have Gary come here”
I nodded slowly and he smiled at me.
“If we win the cup are you going to the celebration?”
I laughed.
“James I’m kinda your girlfriend” I told him.
He laughed and looked at Isaac who was asleep on me.
“We need to teach him how to skate well”
I laughed.
“He just turned 2. You have plenty of time to do that” I told him.
He frowned.
“He seems to like skating more with Adam
I laughed and rubbed his cheek.
“Well that’s cause Adam twirls him and what not” I said.
He nodded and yawned. He laughed and looked at me.
“Have you met Olli’s girlfriend?”
“I’ve seen her a few times here and there. She knows Adam since well they go to the same school” I said.
He nodded.
“Did you see her on the jumbotron?”
I looked at him and laughed when I remembered seeing Janet and Elsa on the screen. They were dancing and singing along to the blitzkrieg bop by the Ramones.
“Yes, they didn’t notice until like 5 seconds in” I told him.
He laughed and nodded.
“Olli was laughing the whole time. The kid is in love”
“She’s a sweet girl” I said.
He nodded.
“Smart girl too”
I nodded and she leaned back.
“So is Beau back with Janet? Those two break up all the time” I said closing my eyes.
He laughed.
“Nah they’re still together. She’s good for him”
I nodded and leaned back against the couch.
“Got work tomorrow?”
“Yea at night though” I said.
He nodded and yawned.
“Let me put this away and we can go to bed”
I nodded as he got up.
“Lets go!”
I picked Isaac up who didn’t even stir.
“Should I take him to bed?” I asked James.
“Well we have to get him used to his bed somehow”
I nodded and we tucked him in. We walked back to our room and James jumped on the bed. I laughed at him and walked into the closet. I changed into some pjs and I walked to the room.
“I love you Bells”
I smiled and got under the blankets.
“I love you too” I told him.
With that we both fell asleep.

I haven't started on my research paper that is due tomorrow. Why? Cause my brain is actually making me think that i will finish it and still have a goods nights rest.I havent slept well at all since Friday night. (I shouldn't of have partied then gone to the beach then partied again this weekend >.< Whoops!) Then the stupid time change fucked me over!
There are only 3 chapters left of this story! Go read my Olli Maatta story, you know the one i posted on here the other day (again sorry!). That story is set in the future, so Bella and James will be mentioned in that story as well.
