It was their first Christmas spent living together, and they both wanted to make the best of it. The plan was to spend Christmas Eve at a gathering with both their parents and Rian and Zack's families. That way, the two could have the special wintry morning to themselves, just enjoying each other's company. Everything was planned perfectly. And then there was the matter of Alex's present.

Jack had gotten advice from just about everyone who knew the 25 year old--even people who'd known him when he was four-- and he still could not figure out what to give him. He'd considered band merch, CD's, books, movies, but nothing seemed fitting for this one person that he'd made up his mind to spend his whole life with. Jack was stumped. Completely, utterly stumped.
