Those in Glass Houses

"Raccoon, get up" Austin said shaking his sister in her bed. It was a Friday morning and Austin was going to let his sister take the day off of school for the trip.
"Austin whats going on?" she asked rubbing her eyes.
"Get dressed in jeans and a t-shirt I have a surprise for you" Austin explained leaving the room. Raquel got up and got dressed and then walked down to the kitchen,
"We have to drive for two hours to the surprise is that OK?" Austin asked.
"That's fine" Raquel said smiling. With that said both of them went into the car to start their trip. Austin had music playing as Raquel slept in the backseat. After the two and a half hour ride they were there,
"Raccoon" Austin said opening the backdoor and getting Raquel up.
"Tiger where are we?" she asked rubbing her eyes. Austin lifted her up and she saw the Disneyland sign. Her eyes were wide and her mouth open. She hugged Austin tightly as they walked through the gates to the adventure land,
"What do you want to do first?" Austin asked.
"Peter Pan" she yelled as they walked past the Peter Pan ride. Austin agreed and they got in line. There weren't many people there at the park which wasn't expected at all, but it made the day better. After a few rides they went to get food. They say at a table towards the back of the food court and ate,
"I'm going to miss you a lot over the summer" Austin said.
"I'm going to miss you. I need you, you don't need me Austin" Raquel said calling Austin his real name for the first time in a long while. They went silent as they finished up eating,
"i'm sorry" Austin said out of no where. Raquel gave me a confused look not understanding what he meant.
"I'm sorry I'm a horrible brother. I'm going to play Warped Tour to help myself when out dad hasn't been a part of our life, our mom died, and you need me and I'm leaving for three months to go try and make myself happy. I'm such a horrible person-"
"Tiger your the greatest brother in the world. I think everyone would agree with me. You need to be happy to and this tour will make you happy" Raquel said putting her finger over Austins mouth. Austin hugged her and picked her up,
"Want to go to a gift shop and get something?" Austin asked. Raquel laughed and shook her head. They walked to a gift shop and looked around. Raquel grabbed a beauty and the beast shirt and a bell doll. Austin didn't mind paying for them since this would be the last day they'd spend together before tour. They walked back to the park and looked at the flying elephants and decided to go on those. Austin was too big so Raquel was just going on. While waiting a girl caught Austin attention. She was shorter than him by about a foot or a little more, very thin probably about 90-100 pounds, pale white skin, and long brown hair with a few blonde strands. Her make up was done dark and she was wearing jean shirts that were black and white, and a black tank top with vans. Austin wasn't one for girls. He always seemed to try and avoid them, he's much rather spend time with his friends and other people than having a clingy girlfriend. Austin couldn't help but keep staring at her and he had to go over and say something. He walked over and bumped into her gently,
"How much does a polar bear weigh?"
"What?" the girl said.
"Enough to break the ice. Hi, I'm Austin." The girl blushed and smirked,
"Derella" she said shaking Austins hand.
"You from Florida?"
"Yeah, about two hours East."
"Me to." Austin shouted. He looked around as everyone stared at him. Derella started to laugh as he did too.
"What brings you to Disney?" Derella asked.
"I brought my little sister because I wont be able to see her over the summer starting next week" Austin explained.
"I brought my brother for the same reason. He was happy I wasn't going to be home though he gets to go live with my older brother and dad for a few months" she explained.
"I feel guilty. I'm pretty much all she has left. Our mom passed away, and my dad is somewhere. I basically take care of her. Tour's going to be hard."
"That's funny. I'm not going to be home because of tour too."
"Your in a band?" Austin asked shocked.
"Nah. I'm a merch girl with AP for Warped Tour. I'm really excited to be on that tour it's been a big help for me"Derella explained. Austin was in shock. He didn't say anything back to her for a minute. She went to speak again when he covered her mouth,
"I'm going on Warped Tour. My band Of Mice & Men is playing" he shouted. Derella's eye lit up,
"No way" she shouted, "That's crazy" she added.
Raquel got off the ride and ran over to Austin hugging his leg,
"Who's this?" Derella asked.
"My sister Raquel" Austin said.
"Tiger I wanna go meet Belle" Raquel said tugging on his arm.
"Ok ok we'll go in a second. Hear put your number in I'll text you later" Austin said handing Derella his phone. She handed her's to him and they exchanged number.
"Nice meeting you Austin" Derella said hugging her new friend, and going their separate ways. It got late and Austin didn't want to be driving home all night so they left the park. Raquel slept more than half the way home. When they got to the house Austin carried her into her room to go to sleep.
