Chapter 3

Katrina woke up to find the other side empty as usual. She sighed before getting up. After making the bed and pulling the curtains she showered got dressed and began her morning routine.

As she sat alone eating an egg omelet she found her thoughts thinking about their new neighbor.

She would be lying if she said she didn't think Brian was attractive.

He was in a bad boy rocker type way. With his spiky hair and that body. That smooth voice of his. And those eyes. His eyes were like fine chocolate that made her melt. The kind of eyes who wanted to wake up to in the morning.

She shook her head trying to get rid of the thoughts.

You're married. She told herself. Besides he looks like he gets around. He probably has girlfriends and women all over the place.

After eating she got up and started to vacuum the carpet.

Another reason she was a housewife was cause Stewart loved a clean house. She remembered how he used to be so happy his she cleaned it. The house would smell so clean and fresh. Nowadays that didn't even seem to make him happy.

He use to come home seeing the house spotless and be so ecstatic about it. This would lead to them going to the room for passionate sex.

How she missed being touched like that. He acted like he hated her and was repulsed by her. She knew she had gained a little weight but she wasn't fat.

She turned off the vacuum cleaner and went to straightened the books.

Little did she know her new neighbor was currently thinking about her also. And getting ready to pay her a visit.

Brian spiked his hair to perfection and putt on some cologne. As he got dressed in a muscle shirt and some old worn jeans. He thought about the deal he had made.

Brian was suspicious of Stewart ever since he brought up the deal. Seduce Katrina to see if she gave in to temptation. He could tell that Katrina looked unhappy. Though it was because of her marriage she didn't look or come across like the cheating kind.

If anything Stewart was the one cheating. Brian knew the signs of a cheater. Hell he had cheated in the past. Plus the fact that Stewart had even come to him with a deal instead of confronting his wife. That only confirm his suspicions.

He's probably cheated on her for so long it's his guilty conscience that has him thinking she's doing the same thing. He thought as he finished getting dressed and grabbing his toolbox.

Then again Brian couldn't resist the possibly of a record deal and a thousand dollars if he accomplished it.

On top of that he still had needs and had to get his rocks off. He smirked thinking this before going out the front door.

Crossing the street he walked up to the door ringing the doorbell.

Katrina stopped what she was doing getting up and walking to the door. She wasn't expecting anybody. She opened the door to find her new neighbor on the other side.

"Good morning Katrina." Brian said with a sexy smirk.

"Morning Brian." She said surprised. "What are you doing here?"

"Got word that y'all had some loose boards." He said holding up the toolbox. "I came to fix them."

"How did you know we had loose boards?" She asked.

"Your husband came over this morning to introduce himself and he told me about them." Brian said.

"That's why he was gone so long." She said.

Brian nodded trying not to smile at the real reason he came over.

"Well come in them." She said opening the door wider.

Brian smiled and entered the house. Katrina got a whiff of his cologne. Her eyes closed as his smell hit her nostrils.

"So where's the boards at?" He asked snapping her out her daze.

"They're in the kitchen." She said her cheeks turning red as he smiled at her.

She lead him in the kitchen and to the boards near the oven. He got down touching and lifting the boards up. Katrina observed the many tattoos that graced his arms.

She looked away when he looked up.

"They need to be removed and replaced." He said getting up. "I can do that all today."

"You can replace six boards by the end of today?" She asked. "How?"

"I'm really good with my hands." He said huskily.

Katrina couldn't help but think that he meant something else when and how he said that.

"I have some boards at my house." He said. "I'll go get them."

"Okay." She said as he walked pass her.

His words still rang in her ears. I'm good with my hands.

Is he coming on to me? She didn't have time to think about it cause Brian returned in no time with the boards.

Moving the stove aside he got on his knees and started removing the boards. Katrina watched as his muscles flexed and moved.

She turned away as Brian turned around to get the boards. Her eyes wander over his sweat glistened arms. Watching as the sweat went down his arms and his brow.

Eventually her eyes were focused on his ass. It looks like a Greek Gods ass.

"All done." Brian said getting up.

She shook her head. "Already?" She asked.

He nodded stepping aside as she came over stepping on the boards testing them.

"You are really good." She said with a smile.

He returned it wiping his hands on his jeans.

"Would you like something to drink?" She asked walking towards the fridge.

"Sure." He said watching her.

As Katrina grabbed a beer she felt someone behind her. She turned coming face to face with Brian. His eyes hire into here making her weak.

She gasped at how close he was. He leaned forward as if to kiss her. Instead he took the beer.

"Thank you." He said with a smile.

"You're welcome." She stammered out.

He smiled walking away. She grabbed a tea and they went to sit on the patio.

"So how long have you lived here?" Brian asked.

"Almost seven years now." She answered.

"How long have you been married?" He asked observing her.

"Six years." She said the sadness creeping into her voice.

"You don't sound to happy about it." He said.

"It's kinda falling apart the passion and love that was there isn't there anymore." She said.

"How so?" He asked.

"He doesn't look at or treat me the way he used to." Katrina said. "Nowadays it's like he hates me and I think it's something I did." "I feel like I'm not wanted anymore."

She felt a hand on hers. She looked seeing Brian next to her. When did he move?

"Katrina I assure you someone wants you." He said.

Katrina found herself lost in his eyes again she looked down seeing their hands and got up.

"Well thank you again for fixing the boards." She said.

"You're welcome." He said getting up too.

They walked into the kitchen where he gathered his toolbox. She walked him to the door.

"Thanks again." She said with a smile.

"Anytime." He said. "And Katrina if you ever need anything fixed I'm just across the street." He said seductively.

Katrina blushed as he smiled and left the house.

As she closed the door she couldn't help but think there was an underlying message to what he said.
