With everything going on, his grades are dropping. He doesn’t really care, they aren’t important. Not if he doesn’t live through this. He’s started treatment and it’s not going great. He hasn’t told Ali and it’s been putting a strain on their relationship. He has less time to spend with her and has to make excuses for his absence. She can’t find out. The minute she does… he couldn’t stand to see her look at him with pity in those big brown eyes. He doesn’t want her to think any less of him to think of him as weak. Soon, though, she’ll know. He suspects she’s already suspicious. The signs will become clearer, his hair’s going to be going soon.
