Try for Me.

Drunken journey.

Adolescent parties can not be that bad, right? I fiddled with the bottom of my fuchsia pink spaghetti strap top, as my white flats paddled against the side walk. My dark gray skinny jeans hugged against me, as my black scarf flowed in the slight breeze. I couldn't wait to get inside to be warm.

"Well hello, hello," Aiden greets. Seth hands Noelle a red solo cup, of which she happily took. Aiden handed me one, and I sigh.

"Can I get a can of beer instead?" I question, not exactly trusting Aiden or his friends.

"Fine," he turns and hands me one.

"Unopened," I groan. Aiden narrows his eyes for a moment.

"Glad you are careful, at least I wont have to worry about anyone trying to take advantage of you tonight," Aiden sarcastically says with winks. At which I laugh.

"Gee thanks," I accept the unopened can, and glance at it. I've never drank before and can only hope it isn't a completely disgusting taste.

"What don't like that kind?" Seth inquires, at which I turn to him with a smile.

"Beer is beer, duh," I nervously giggle. Noelle shook her head while laughing.

"That's why I do mixed drinks," she winks, drinking out of her cup. I opened the can, took a swig and gagged. Great. I try to regain my composure and act "cool" but nope. I shake my head and pass it to Aiden. My tongue stayed out of my mouth as I dramatically gasped for air, that shit was nasty.

"I will not be drinking tonight," I mutter to myself, shivering from that nasty after taste.

"Here, watch," Aiden went to the counter, opened a soda, and mixed it with a bottle of alcohol. I watched intensely as he handed it over to me, untainted. "There, as you see I did nothing fishy with it."

"Okay," I nod, accepting it. I took a sip, and although I could taste the funky taste of hard alcohol; it wasn't that bad. It wasn't until about three drinks later I felt myself dancing uncontrollably in the crowd with Noelle. My hands running through my hair and tussling it around, as I hopped about the floor where everyone was dancing.

"Maybe we should slow you down a bit," I heard Aiden whisper in my ear as his hand snaked around my waist. I smirk and backed myself more against him. The liquid courage was messing with me, and at random points my mouth became overly salivated.

"Oh really?" I smirk, grinding against him. I wasn't sure if this was how you did it, but I just moved along with the music and followed his beat.

"Almost everyone is gone," he mutters. I looked around shocked, I did not notice people leaving until now.

"Great," I groan. I turn around and smile at Aiden.
"Tonight was fun."

"Mhmm," he pulled me close again.

"Where is Noelle?" My vision a little blurry, and wobbly. I couldn't see her next to me anymore.

"Her and Seth left about two hours ago," he replies. I felt my body freeze. How could she leave me, I felt panicked at this point.

"No," I whisper, shaking my head. He was lying.
"Damn." I felt defeat overcome me as I dramatically looked around for Noelle.

"It's okay, you can stay here," he assures. I nervously laugh.

"Not even cl-" I felt the urge, I kept gulping, and pushed past him. I went to the bathroom and started upchucking the alcohol. I was smart at least, and held my hair as I emptied the contents of my stomach.

"Are you okay?" I heard him laughing, the music was gone and I couldn't hear anyone else by now.

"Ugh," I groan, finishing and resting my head against the toilet.
"I feel so sick." My body felt heavy, and all I wanted was to sleep.

"It happens," he opened the door, leaning against it's frame.
"It's just you and I now, so don't worry about anyone else hearing."

"Thanks," I mumble, trying to lift my head but it wasn't successful.

"Want some water?" He offers.

"That would be awesome," I slur. "If I can even drink it."

"I'll take that as a yes," he laughs. Maybe he couldn't understand me? I close my eyes and let my heavy body take over. "Hey, beautiful. You really should drink some of this."

"No," I groan, trying to lift my arm to shove him away.

"Come on, you're going to dry heave all night if you don't," he explains.

"Why do people drink?" I cry out, at which he laughs.

"Damn, you are really drunk," he comments, and I felt him sit next to me.
"Here, lean your head back, there you go. Little sips. Ahh, yep."

"Ugh!" I whine as I throw up the water I just drank. I lay my head against the toilet seat that has seen many-a-asses all night, I laugh to myself before looking at Aiden. "I am horrible. Huh? No look for me."

"You look drunk," he comments with a smile.
"Now, prepare yourself. Once you're done throwing up, I'm taking you to bed."

"Gross, why? No. I hate you." I cry out. Would he really do that?

"Not like that, Vivian. I prefer not to take advantage of women, I'd rather hear how you really are in bed, not drunkenly." He was laughing even harder now, which hurt my head as he left me alone in the bathroom.

...

What felt like hours passed by, and I felt a bit more sober. I could sit up, and I glance to see the sun was barely peeking out, it is probably four in the morning. Aiden never came back for me in the bathroom, and my legs and body paid for it. I opened the door and heard a girl moaning down the hall. I stumble to that door and open it to see Aiden literally fucking another girl bent halfway across the bed.

"Vivian!" he exclaimed, the girl seemed unfazed as I stood there bewildered.

"Ugh, sorry," I shake my head. I closed the door and looked around frantically. So, I always said I disliked Aiden and complained about him. But, I enjoyed the flirting and idea of it going some where. But after seeing that. I shook my head. Nope. No. I hurry out the front door and start to drunkenly wander around his neighborhood. I saw a familiar store, and knew exactly where I was going to go now.

"Hello?" I heard someone complain. His red hair in his face, his chest moving with every breath, as his boxers hugged his hips tightly. I stood there with tears in my eyes, shoving past him, and was welcomed by his dog George. "Vivian, what are you doing here?"

"I, no want to be there. I didn't know where, I had to." I fell on my knees and hugged his beautiful dog tightly. Jace let out a deep breath as he walked over to me.

"Are you drunk?" He asks, slightly amused, slightly not. I saw him peek out the window to see if I had gotten a ride, and growled when he realized I didn't. "Did you walk here? This early in the morning?! Are you fucking crazy, Vivian!"

"Shh, no, hush. I see," wow I didn't even make sense to myself. Sure my body wasn't in throwing up phase anymore, and hell I didn't feel so heavy. But my lack of conversing skills was horrid, and that worried me. I cleared my throat, placing a hand on my chest. "I need you." Well that came out beautiful.

"You can't come running to me," he sighs. "I can get in trouble."

"I need you, Jace," I repeat, my eyes bored into his.

"You look like hell," he groaned. "Come on." Caving in.

"I am cold," I cry out, he helped me up. I used him for support as we walked to his room, and I wasn't sure why but I stripped out of my clothes. They felt cold, as though I walked through sprinklers, and my hair was wet too. Oh that's why, it was raining outside. Great.

"Whoa, Vivian," he acted as though this wasn't appropriate, as if he hadn't my half naked body before.

"Like you've never seen me," I scoff, shaking my head. I lay in my bra and panties on his bed, my head in the pillow and my body grew heavy once again. I felt his blankets pull over me, and soon after his warm body was pressed against mine. It was comforting and I am glad I came here.
