Try for Me.

Sisterly worries.

Simple white, cotton-y, thicker spaghetti strap top that ties around my neck, and went to my mid thigh, never looked so good. I stare at my mom as she smiled.

"Well, we found your dress," she comments, as it flowed beautifully around me, with a black bow that went around my rib cage, right under my breasts. I smile at her as she grabbed a simple white dress as well. "We can match."

"That'd be fun," I giggle. "Is Nikki going?"

"No, she's going to babysit," she comments.

"Lucky," I tease. We walk by a few stores and I show her some of the clothes I want. A few being corsets.

"I think as long as you don't wear these around your father," she comments, staring at my choice of attire. I smile at her widely.

"Promise!" I squeal, going into the dressing room and trying a few on. I also grabbed some leggings, one side black, the other black and white stripped down the legs. A few pants that are checkered, more skinny jeans, dresses, tube tops, and such. That's when my eyes landed on a gorgeous leather jacket. "Mom."

"Oh goodness, Vivian," she laughs. "A vegetarian wearing leather?"

"It's pleather actually," a worker butts in.
"It's not real animal material, of course."

"I love it," I felt the dark blood red silky material inside with a smile.

"It's a hundred bucks," my mom gasped. "Alone. Goodness."

"Mom, please?" I beg, at which she caved. Yes.

...

We stopped by my dorm first, for me to put my new clothes in there, and I packed a few for tonight. Other than that, we went back to my parents house and I was ecstatic. I sat with Nikki, whom stayed on her computer.

"So, did you hear about Aiden's party last night?" Nikki questions, smacking her lips together.

"What about it?" I quirk a brow, and she laughs.

"You may not have had school today, but I did. I heard they saw you drunk as fuck too," Nikki cursed. I was shocked to say the least, but none the less kept my composure.

"Must have been someone that looked like me," I shrug, glancing at my phone as Noelle texts me.

"Mom doesn't have to know, but I was told Aiden and them are bad news," she was fearful, and I appreciated that.

"Whatever you do, Nikki. Ignore the rumors that are going to happen in these next few months," I practically beg, at which she slowly shifted her eyes to mine.

"What happened, sis?" she gulped, almost afraid of the answer. I close my eyes tightly, before reopening them. "Who hurt you?"

"I'm tired of people doing others dirty," I explain. "It's time for their karma."

"You've only been to that school for not even a full week, and it's already made you bitter," she sighs, and I held back the tears. "Seriously, you can't let this school change you Vivian. You always kept me on the straight and narrow, do you want me to act this way?"

"Wasn't just the school," I mutter, glancing at a few pictures of Jace and I. Nikki caught a glimpse and let out a sigh. I don't want Nicole acting how I want to act, could I actually go through with my plans knowing Nicole will be hearing about it? I huffed.

"He did this to you?" she whispers, her eyes were so innocent and she was taking in every move I make, I can feel it. I am setting the tone for her on how to react to her first heart break, the pressure was so heavy on me.

"Did what?" I innocently reply.
"What are you talking about? Silly." I shake my head and go to my room.

My little sister will learn from my mistakes, and that alone made me smile. I want her to learn from my mistakes, but I don't want her to learn my bad habits. If that makes sense.
