Try for Me.

Horrible liar.

Aiden was the typical sweet looking guy with a hidden dark side. We sat down in the corner of Panda Express, with our food as he pulled out a paper with different classes. He talked to me about which ones I was interested in taking, and of course tried telling me which ones I should take.

"What time are you taking me home?" I question, shifting my eyes from the paper work to him.

"Has your mom called yet?" He quirked a brow.

"I don't have a phone," I point out the obvious.

"Well, guess it isn't a problem on curfew, huh?" he smirks, taking more bites of his food.

"I go to bed around seven, to eight," I explain. Yes, I keep myself on a schedule.

"Not tonight," he quickly shut that schedule down. I was really regretting accepting his "tour".

"Yo, Aiden! Seth mentioned something about a girl! You guys coming tonight?" Some guy approached us, a girl with blond hair under his arm. She was obnoxious chewing her gum, and sipping on her drink. The type of girl who wears her designer shades indoor because she's "cute" like that.

"We might stop by," Aiden answers, making it obvious that he is checking out his friend's girlfriend.

"Cool," the guy rose his brows at me with a grin before walking off.

"Tonight?" I repeat, once they were gone.

"Some end of the year party, it'll help you get to know some people," Aiden says as if it weren't a big deal.

"My curfew is six," I lie.

"You don't have a phone, and besides you're with me," he flashes me a smile before continuing to eat. I let out a deep breath, and devised a plan to escape Aiden. I didn't want to be on his hit list, but I also didn't want to get raped tonight.

"Yeah, good point," I bit my lip. "I have to pee."

"Bathroom is over there," he points. I grabbed the vital paper work, receiving a weird look from him.

"Might be a while," I explain. Oddly enough that worked, as he put his hands up and didn't ask any more questions. Once I was out of his sight, I walked out of Panda. That was easy. The wind slightly blew my hair around, and I took in a deep breath.

"Hey, Aiden's girl, where's Aiden?" Seth walked over. Does everyone here know where we're at?

"Ugh, inside," I mutter. That means I have to be quicker.

"You okay?" He chuckled, looking me over.

"Can I use your cell phone?" I ask, glancing behind me occasionally.

"Sure," he hands it over. I walk to a more secluded area, he followed of course, and dialed my mom's cell number.

"Hello?" She answers.

"You have to pick me up," the desperateness practically strangled her through the phone.

"Vivian, come on," she sounds annoyed.

"Mom, he's trying to take me to a party!" I exclaim being dramatic.

"And? Enjoy. You are finally able to go out!" She encouraged, being a bad influence. I know I don't get out at all, and this is the first time I am even out without having to watch my siblings. However, Aiden screamed bad news to me.

"Mom, please. Stop. Okay? Please." I beg.

"Fine, where are you?" She gave in with a deep sigh.

"I am at the panda express, but I think I'll escape to Best Buy." I inform her, staring at Best Buy that is directly across the street.

"Escape? You are not ditching him!" She scolds, clearly annoyed at her anti-social daughter.

"But mom, you don't under-" I quickly tried to excuse myself but she was not having it.

"Vivian!" She screamed cutting me off. My shoulders sunk down, and I let out another deep breath for the millionth time.

"Fine." I licked my dry lips, and stared at the floor.

"I'll see you in fifteen, let him know." That was that. I handed the phone back to Seth, whom stood there with an amused expression.

"Well," he laughs.

"Don't say anything," I sigh, walking back to Panda.

"I wont," he followed.

"I thought you had to use the bathroom?" Aiden groaned, ignoring the fact Seth is there.

"I did, and wanted some fresh air," I lie.

"And then I came up," Seth butts in.
"So we started talking, and she was leading me to you."

"Cool," Aiden mutters.

"Can we go to Best Buy?" I chew the inside of my lip.

"What for?" Aiden quirked a brow.

"I want to look at their flash drives," I was such a horrible liar.

"Their flash drives?" Aiden replies, unconvinced.

"You know those little sticks you stick into computers?" I gulp, please just take me there and shut up.

"Good luck with that," Seth laughs. I wasn't sure if he was talking to me, or Aiden. Either way, Aiden didn't catch on and thought it was to him.

"Okay, then we're going out," Aiden caved, cleaning up our mess. I folded the paperwork and put it in my bag, as we drove across the street to Best Buy.
