What Melts Ice

“One kind word can warm three winter months.” – Japanese Proverb
It is the 1887 in America.

23 year old Will Frader committed a crime he’s not proud of, and now he’s paying the price. After 6 months of doing jail time he now has 3 months of doing community service from December 21st, the first day of winter, to March 21st, the first day of spring. The court sends Will to the local orphanage where he must help the few nurses there to take care of the surplus of young children. But the orphanage is struggling and growing more and more in debt and soon it will no longer exist. Will is touched by the children who so strongly face life day by day, but it isn’t long before his past comes back to haunt him.
