Destiny Doesn’t Control: My Choice

Matthew Daniels is the hero of this story. Smart, strong, and kind-hearted, he was chosen to protect the world. However, his recent attempts have been failing. His enemy is large and powerful and now, he has lost his best friend in his battle to save the world. Everything he does to save the world is going wrong and he now begins to waiver in his resolve to protect the world. In fact, upon further thought, is he even the good guy? Is what Matthew fighting for a good thing at all?
With all these doubts, is it time for the world to fall into the hands of God's hero's enemy? Or will a new hero arise? And even if one comes, how could they stand a chance when the hero chosen by God Himself couldn't do it?
How can the world be saved when no one wants to save it?
