How Will I Know?
Capítulo Dos
I was waken up at 11 o'clock but I loud crashing sound in my kitchen.
"Andrea! If we want it to be a surprise, you need to be quiet!" I heard Kim half whisper, half shout from downstairs as I was making my way towards the main floor. Instantly I relaxed; it was only the girls.
"What are you girls up too?" I said startling them as I crossed my arms, leaning into the kitchen door way. The look on their face was priceless. They were absolutely clueless to the fact that I was awake.
"We were uhhh..." Kim started to ramble.
"We were going to bake you pancakes!" Andrea stated like she was sure of herself.
I couldn't help but burst out laughing. Oh those girls! What would I do without them? They make my life so much happier. Kim started laughing and between laughs she breathed: "Andrea, you're so dumb!"
"What did I do?" Andrea was really oblivious to what she has done.
"A, I don't like pancakes!" And just has I was catching my breath, Andrea started laughing like she was gonna piss herself and we were all laughing again.
"Sab, you're the weirdest person I know!" she told me.
"Me? You're the ones that broke into my kitchen to 'make me pancakes'" I was almost flabbergasted
"You are the only human being that doesn't like pancakes!" she accused me.
"Said the girl who eats everything!" I punched her arm playfully. "Now, lets be productive and actually make breakfast!"
As we were finishing up, Kimberly asked: "So, what did you guys do yesterday?" smiling brightly.
"We had a movie night. It had been a long time since we did that all together. I will really miss them when we leave tomorrow night." A said.
"I played board games with my family. And my father sang karaoke; we all know how that ended!" laughed Kim. "And you Sab?"
"Nah same as usual. She didn't even come back last night." I shrugged.
"DON'T STOP THE PARTYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!"
"What the fuck A? Hahahahahaha!"
And that was basically the hole day and the entire night. Just messing around excited as hell, laughing, screaming, dancing and singing.
By the time we were all tired out, it was 3 a.m and we had to leave the next day at 9 in the morning. Let's just say that sleep was not the top thing on our minds that night. We woke up at 7 sharp and started to get ready. With more than 10 hours of flight, knowing that we will arrive in London at approximately around 11 p.m, we weren't all skirts and heels. We were more sweatpants and ponytails so let's say we didn't take much time getting ready.
"Guys........... WE'RE GOING TO LONDON!" Screamed Andrea as we stepped out of my car at the airport.
"I'm kind of nervous..." I said swallowing the lump that was forming in my throat. It was the first time that I was going to take a plane, yet a lone leave the country. I had been to New York a couple of times but I always traveled by bus. I didn't even know how an airport worked! Where did I have to go register my luggage? Where do I take the plane? When I'm not in complete control of the situation, I tend to freak out.
"Breath Sab." Kim said in a southing voice. "It's not the first time that I take a plane. I know how it works." She smiled reassuringly while Andrea hugged my side.
I let out a long breath. Okay. I can do this. Breath Sab, breath.We started walking in the huge airport to the luggage registry and when that was over, I seemed to have calmed down a bit. Everything will be fine. I kept sermoning myself. You are going to have the time of your life this summer. Will you stop worrying and just enjoy it? I let out a long sight. My subconscious was right. Stop it Sab. We went through all the regulation and finally we were waiting the board our plane.
"I can't believe you brought so much shoes that you had to pay an extra 47$!" Andrea exclaimed laughing.
"Oh well, it's just a pair of shoes less than i'm gonna bring home!" I smiled.
"You mean, you were planning on buying MORE?!"
"Um maybe........."
"What will we do with you miss Danter?" Kimberly exclaimed of exasperation.
"Endure me?" I said batting my eyelashes at her.
And that is how we spent most of our flight, with small talk, until we all fell asleep only to awoke in London, England.
