A Different Dimension

Jimmy waited for the bullet to hit but it never did. He opened his eyes and they widen. The bullet was frozen in mid air not moving.

"What the hell?" General Cochran said.

He shot another bullet it too froze in mid air.

There was a big flash of light. Everyone looked at the spacecraft which was rotating at the bottom. The bottom changed to a silver magnetic bottom.

The bullets flew to it clinging to it. The militaries guns started flying to it also. One guy tried to hang on to his it dragged him along until it too flew to the bottom.

The ship then rotated back to its original bottom. It slowly started lowering to the ground.

Jimmy walked pass the General, pass his friends and stood there watching the ship landing.

It finally landed. There was a noise and a ramp appeared showing a bright light from within.

Then two figures appeared and slowly started walking down the ramp. Jimmys eyes widen as they got closer.

"Holy shit." Johnny said fainting.

They walked until they stood right in front of Jimmy.

These must be Arlys parents. He thought.

Her mom had her red hair while her dad had brown. Both their tentacles were out, theirs eyes were a deeper shade of silver, and their faces were a silver scales. They also wore futuristic clothing.

"Are you Jimmy?" Her mother asked.

"Yes I am." He said.

"You and your friends protected Arly while she was here?" Her father asked.

"Yes." Jimmy said glancing at his friends. "We did."

Arlys mom tilted her head and brought a tentacle forward.

Jimmy gulped cause it was a lot larger and longer in size than Arlys. It hovered in front of his face before touching his nose. There was a flash of light then the tentacle went away,

Jimmy touched his nose to find the blood gone.

"Thanks." He said.

"No thank you." Her mom said. "Thank you all for protecting and taking care of Arly while she was here."

"You're welcome." Jimmy said with a smile.

Jimmy glanced at the ship seeing Arly at the top of the ramp.

"You can come out Arly." Her father said.

Arly ran down the ramp and over to them. Her hair was in a ponytail and she was wearing a silver dress.

"He had a good heart like you've said." Her mother said.

Arly nodded. "Yes he does they all do."

Her dad nodded. "There was something you wanted to ask us."

Arly nodded and starting speaking in alien language.

Jimmy felt awkward standing there while Arly and her parents communicated in their language. Finally they got done talking.

"We shall see." Her father said.

"It's time to go home." Her mother said.

"May I say goodbye?" Arly asked.

"Of course." Her father said as he and her mom went up the ramp and back into the ship.

Everyone came forward Zacky first.

"Goodbye Arly." He said hugging her. "We'll miss you here."

"And I'll miss having y'all around." She said pulling away.

Zacky smiled sadly then Brian was next.

He hugged her. "Who's gonna help us pick on Johnny now?"

Arly smiled as tentacle slithered out and shocked Johnny awake.

"The fuck!" He yelled jumping up and grabbing his butt.

Everyone laughed. "Come and say goodbye shortshit." Brian said.

Johnny walked over and hugged her.

"Goodbye E.T." He said with a smile.

"Goodbye shortshit." She said.

He chuckled then Matt came forward.

"It's gonna be boring not having you here." He said hugging her.

"It shall be boring not having y'all around." She said.

He gave her a sad grin as the twins came forward.

"It's gonna suck not having another girl around." Michelle said.

Valary nodded and hugged her. "To hang out with, talk to,etc."

"I shall miss you shopping buddies." Arly said.

They smiled and hugged her again. Valary buried her face in Matts chest crying.

Lastly Arly turned to Jimmy who looked on the verge of tears.

They hugged each other tightly. "I shall miss you the most Jimny." She said.

"I'll miss you a lot too." He said as they pulled away.

Cupping his face they kissed. Their arms wrapped around each other holding each other tightly. They savored the kiss memorizing each others taste and the way they felt against each other.

Eventually they pulled apart gasping softly.

"I love you Jimmy." She said.

"And I love you Arly." He said wiping the silver tears that fell down her face away.

"Jimmy I want you to have this." She said taking her necklace off.

"Arly I can't take it." He said.

"Please do." She said putting it in his hand and closing it. "No matter how far apart we are as long as you have this...

"We're never far apart." He finished for her.

She smiled and hugged him again. After this and a final kiss.

Their hands separated as Arly walked back to the ship. She stood under the beam and titled her head.

Jimmy watched as her tentacles came out, her face turned silver and scaly, and her eyes were still silver and a little bigger.

She looked at him and gave him a small smile. She walked up the ramp. It closed behind her as she walked into the ship.

Jimmy saw her go to a window waving. He waved back.

The ship lifted up and started rotating. It rotated faster and faster till it was a blur. There was a flash and it zoomed out twinkling in the sky as it left Earth.

Jimmy looked sadly where it vanished.

"General what do we do now?" One of the men asked.

Jimmy had forgotten about the military being there. He turned facing them.

"Maybe not all aliens are evil." General Cochran said. "Let's go home."

Jimny turned back around looking at the sky as the tears fell. Valary walked over placing a hand on his shoulder.

He squeezed it and looked down in his hand seeing the crystal glow softly.
