Chapter 13
Chapter 13 - Gage's POV
Cade and I walked back into the school and into the lunchroom. We sat down at "our" table and Cade pulled out a drawing she was working on. I'm guessing the person in the drawing was Camdon. Roxi walked up and sat down with us as well.
"I'm hungry," Cade said.
"Then go get some food!" I said and pointed to the line to buy lunch.
"Fine." She replied and got up and walked to the line.
I watched her as she waited in line impatiently. Roxi must have caught me staring at her because she waved her hand in my face to pull me out of my trance.
"What?" I asked innocently.
"Do you like Cade?" She asked with a questioning look on her face.
"Uhm....maybe," I said, blushing.
"Why are you blushing? You're a guy you're not supposed to blush!" She said laughing.
"I'm not!" I replied, hiding my face.
"Oh face it you like her you know it!" She accused.
"So, what if I do?" I asked, continuing to hide my face.
"Well, what if she likes you too?" She asked, looking at her hands.
"What if she does?" I replied.
"I dunno, you guys seem good for each other," She answered.
"You think so?" I asked, curiously.
"Yea!" She exclaimed.
"Does she like me?" I asked.
"I dunno," She replied, looking away.
"Roxi!" I said, looking at her.
"I can't tell you!" She said, hiding in her hoodie.
"Fine." I said, and turned away."
"Gage!" She said, complaining.
I continued to ignore her.
"GAGE!" She yelled.
I still continued to ignore her.
"Fine I'll tell you!" She said, giving in.
"Good!" I said, turning back towards her.
"Okay...Cade-" She started.
"What about me?" Cade asked walking back to her seat.
I sighed and slammed my head on the table. Cade gave me a strange look and Roxi laughed. I had no clue if Cade actually liked me or not, even after what happened in the park. Roxi knew something and I was going to pull it out of her.
